Don't you just love Fall? It's such a cozy time of year, full of fleece coats, sipping hot cups of cider, and afternoon outings pumpkin picking. Long walks admiring the warm colored leaves and crisp air give hints that Winter holiday celebrations are on their way. If you're in a relationship, all these pleasant feelings can make you fall in love all over again.
Other seasons can have this same effect on your mood and how you feel about the people in your life. So I'm wondering if certain seasons make you more in the mood for love and intimacy than others. Do you have a favorite season that you look forward to every year that encourages feelings of love, or is it the change in seasons that inspires passion for you?

I would say the colder months put me more in the mood ... in part because of the holidays ... but mostly because I love frolicking in the Fall, and going for hot chocolate with a guy during the winter. All nice and cozy ... sigh.
1Last weekend my boyfriend and I went to a festival that celebrates fall, specifically Applefest. I think my by and fell in love all over again that weekend. It was chilly so the only alternative was snuggling.
2The funniest part of this article is just yesterday my bff said when we walked outside and felt how cold it was, that it was "sex weather" because it was perfect for cuddling which according to her always leads to sex. And I couldn't agree with her more!
I don't take love so trivially as a which season sort of thing.
3There is definatly something uber romantic about being all bundled up with your hunny. Theres just something that comes with the chilly air that makes you either want someone to snuggle up to, or be really glad that you have someone.
4I love the Fall weather and it definitely makes me want to cuddle up with my man... BUT the cold months and layered clothes make me feel less attractive, especially since I have no sun-kissed glow and I tend to decrease my exercise in the winter since all I want to do is cuddle up and do nothing. So, I think I'm more "in the mood" in the summer.
5i definitely seem to get more nooky in the spring time... perhaps because it's all about the birds and the bees!
6I absolutely love the fall. I think it is the best season. I love fall festivals, cider, apple picking, etc. My boyfriend is from the Berkshires, so when we went back there to visit his parents it was gorgeous. The trees were SO pretty! The scenery was awesome and it just made me love him even more!
7Fall makes me always happy.
8For me, fall definitely puts me in the mood. Maybe because I don't take love lightly, and fall is such a rich and deep season in itself. My best romances tend to happen in the fall than during any other season.
This might be a little off-tangent, but I believe that certain parents who have children that are born close together have a kind of 'mating season.' For example, my sister and I have a 13-month age difference. I have a feeling my parents had a habit of getting cozy between November and December
9Most definitely the fall. We fell in love in England when it would get really cool at night and we would take long walks together. So, walking together in cool weather always makes us extra romantic.
10i don't think that any season really makes me more in the mood than others. the biggest reason for that is that when i met my fiance, we lived in florida and the seasons don't really change there...so we've been back in NYC for a year now and it's not quite set in that we have seasons. i can assure you though that if/when we're stuck inside cause it's way too cold to go out - we'll feel more romantic
11I guess a good shiver will have you running for a sleeping bag for two
12Fall makes me snuggly.
13I love winter sex! I already don't want to get out of my warm bed, so I might as well do something in there!
I like having sex in front of my Christmas tree, too.
14I have lived in Florida my whole life and unfortunately have never experienced any season other than perpetual summer! However, I will hopefully be moving to NYC soon and I am very excited to try out all of the seasons with my BF!
15I definitely love the chilly weather. I really try to enjoy it with my bf because it's sunny almost the whole year in socal.
16last holiday season it was like everyday!
Strictly speaking, no. But if I'm really cold? That is so not an aphrodisiac. brrrr!
17^Heidi, you are hilarious! I'll have to try that one day.
Enjoying all the splendors of fall--breathing in the crisp air, marvelling at the lovely changing leaves, searching for pumpkins--all of this puts me in the mood. Fall just makes me happy, period.
