ACORN Office in Vegas Raided in Voter-Fraud Probe Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote. A Nevada secretary of state's office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN. Meanwhile NM officials have caught a glitch that would have prevented votes from being counted.

good, its about time.
1I just read an article that said this: "In 2006, ACORN committed what Washington Secretary of State Sam Reed called the "worse case of election fraud" in the state's history. In the case, ACORN submitted just over 1,800 new voter registration forms, and all but six of the 1,800 names were fake."
How are these crooks still able to register people to vote?

3Oooo..GS, you're gonna get reported!
4I think it is sad, because there are genuinely a lot of folks out there that don't know how to get registered, and would like to vote.
It frustrates me that in past elections, there have been people that wanted to vote and were eligible to vote, but were kept from voting through various means.
If this organization has been doing something criminal, it just makes it even worse because there are a lot of organizations out there trying to register people that are legitimate and are doing a lot of good.
5Elections fraud should never be allowed, but it should be made clear that Barack Obama's connections to ACORN are tenuous at best, especially in the last decade, and criticism or investigation of ACORN should not reflect on the Obama campaign. The recent ACORN-related allegations against Obama have already been refuted.
6Just as Mccains connections to the Keating 5 have already been discussed and cleared.
7I haven't said differently--sorry if I came across that way.
8Yeah, my fiancee's dad is one of the victims of ACORN, he was even featured in our local news (as one guy who showed how ACORN basically stole his identification and vote for a bill).
Hee, that was his 1-minute-of fame (I know, we were just so idiotic waiting for the local news so that we can watch him on tv LMAO).
About time they take action there.
