Citizen, you meant "martial law," right?
As for the economy, I'm taking bets on which other banks will collapse in the coming year.
1The martial law clip is interesting - but what I find on the internet when I looked for more information is the same clip.
2
Yes, JudeC good catch. That's an entirely different kind of law. Fixing promptly.
3It would have been funny if that really was what was threatened, though.
"Pass this bill, or you don't get any booty for a month! By law!"
4Should Sarah Palin admit to drinking a Starbucks Mocha? What will "Joe Six Pack" think?
5"There's a place in Hell reserved for women who don't help other women."- former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright
6So the big deal is she said support instead of help?
7>Should Sarah Palin admit to drinking a Starbucks Mocha? What will "Joe Six Pack" think?
Hahaha! I know, right?
8There is a difference between help and support. Nuance matters. And I think Albright set both Palin and McCain straight.
"Though I am flattered that Governor Palin has chosen to cite me as a source of wisdom, what I said had nothing to do with politics. This is yet another example of McCain and Palin distorting the truth, and all the more reason to remember that this campaign is not about gender, it is about which candidate has an agenda that will improve the lives of all Americans, including women. The truth is, if you care about the status of women in our society and in our troubled economy, the best choice by far is Obama-Biden."
9Nuance is going to have to go into the drinking game pool!
10Very diplomatic smack upside the head from Albright
11Considering all the things that are in the drinking game list, I'm surprised I'm not sloshed 24/7 at this point
12ok that's it. i'm buying a gun.
13I think its a very big deal that she couldn't even get the freakin' qoute right. But its nice to see her admit she is going to hell...
14sigh
15They way Palin (mis)used that quote frustrates me. I didn't know there was a place in hell for me because I disagreed with her politics. I wonder where her place is?
16exactly. I mean she is a part of ticket that has not been very progressive when it comes to women's rights, so ultimately her "words" could be used against her.
17What a ballsy thing for Palin to say! I wonder if she deliberately misquoted just to make a point...
