When you are dating a new guy, a woman expects him to open the car door, pay the bill, compliment her outfit, etc., so do you feel he is expected to make the first move as well? Some men find aggressive women incredibly attractive so while it can be incredibly intimidating, do you thinks it's a good idea or a bad idea for the woman to make the first move?

if you are comfortable with it why not? i never did (but only because i wasn't comfortable with it). i know men love it and find it very sexy. you're already on a date (so you know he's interested).
1I agree lickety split! The first move can come of the woman or the man. It depends of moment...

I agree with the above comments. If you're feeling it, go for it.
3yeah im not usually the one to make the first move, but I did with my current bf. I leaned in for the first kiss, but that was only after I knew already liked me. I dont think I could've if I wasnt 100% sure, Im not that bold.
4I'm usually all for the guy making the moves but I find more and more that guys are getting really shy (maybe its just the type of guy that I go for though!) so I'm usually the one that makes the first move. Jeez... I hope that doesn't say anything about me! :S
5it really does matter who makes the first move
6I don't think making the first move makes one aggressive or not. I was definately the type of person who wanted to feel 'wanted' and that he had to make the first move but my good friend kept saying the guy i was interested in (one of my close friends) was just too shy and i wanted it to happen but felt he was just too shy so i just kissed him one night. And I don't feel it made me aggressive, i think we're fairly equal. He just didn't believe that I could want him and didn't want to risk the friendship! Maybe a different situation but i don't think it takes away from the femininity to go for it.
7Better to act than to wait for him to act. A woman's bold move would encourage a guy in his affections.
8I'm always too nervous to make the first move, but if you've got the confidence and you want to then I see no reason why you shouldn't.
9i think that it scares men when women are too agressive. how do you make the first move sexy enough so you dont scare him?

I voted #3.
11I never had to make the first move. The guy always did.
12Number 3 for me.
There is nothing wrong with making the first move. Men get just as nervous as women get it comes to making the first move.
13That being said, I'm kind of shy, so I usually don't amke the first move overtly-but I definitely encourage it.
i know im getting off topic here..but why is aggressive when a woman shows interest in a man? why is not called assertive? i don't get it and never will..
14thats for guys. not for girls.
