I could see being understanding of this in the begining, but if things didnt start progressing, I would start to worry. I might even just show up on an "unsceduled night" with a bottle of wine and some delicious food, just to see how he would react. If he got all huffy and puffy about it, I would probably consider finding a new date. If he was cool about it and welcomed the change of pace then, yay!

I can see how someone with a lot on their plate with only a few hours a week to spare would do this, if they're working all day and need nights to continue working or have alone time.. but after it started to get more serious, I'd need him to make more time for me. Making time to be together is really important in any relationship, really. It can't always be ONLY those nights.

I've been in the same situation. I realize in the beginning it's hard enough to make time to hang out during the week that you don't want to do it for someone you still don't know/care about that much yet. However, if it's been more than 3/4 dates I start asking where it's going. I make it clear that if they can't make more time for me then it's just not going to work out.

I dated a guy like that. After 5 months it just got to be too odd. I ended it then soon after found out that he was dating 8 other girls! I guess I should have been flattered that I got 2 nights a week:) I still think he was gay though (he had ugg flip flops, need I say more?) and trying to over compensate.

well, i have had really odd schedules where I could only do things on certain days, but not for a really, really long period of time.. a couple weeks or something when I was working a job with varying hours. That is really weird though after a while.. For all you know he could be telling his other girlfriend or wife that he is playing ball hockey or something. Definitely juggling.
