1I don't think it's sexist for Campbell Brown to assume that she's not talking to reporters all day because she's a woman.
2Yeah, it's not sexist...she's not talking to reporters all day because the campaign is worried she will stick her foot in her mouth again. No other candidate has to be hidden like this, I think it shows a HUGE lack of confidence from the campaign for their own VP nomination. I'm glad the media is calling out the campaign for it!

Honestly, I don't get why they are hiding here. It's eerily Cheney like. If Obama chose Hilary, would she had be treated this way? Heck no! So why the secrecy??? It does'nt really strike me as sexist, but definitely suspicious.

And.. THAT is why I drink soy milk and soy ice cream.. that and I pass a local dairy often on the way to a favorite shopping mall.. that will put you off all dairy products.
28Correct me if I wrong -- do you have to get pregnant to produce breast milk? So how will the get the milk all year long. I'm sure the mothers would rather give to their babies.
29I don't think its sexism that prevents McCain camp from letting her give press conferences and deal with the media. I think its fear that people will realize she is really far right and that will alienate moderate undecided voters.

31Does no one in PETA go to dairy farms before they make comments like these? Having served a community that was primarily dairy farmers and cranberry growers, I've learned that there are two professions I would never want to do. The diary cows need to be milked every 8 hours, regardless of the weather or what you wanted to do. By not milking them, or not milking them in time is painful for the cows. Also, if the cows are stressed, they produce less milk. Why would a dairy farmer who wants to make money do anything to harm is herd?
32PETA is just waaaay to extreme. Thinking of breast milk in ice cream makes me want to vomit. We can control what hormones and chemicals go into cows (and therefore into their milk). Not so easy with humans. Not to mention, it is just nasty!
The more the McCain campaign tries to shield Palin from the press (even Fox said it was "unprecedented"), the more I get concerned. What are they trying to hide?
Probably more situations like the Couric interview!
