As an aside, I'm getting pretty tired of the "whose church is nuttier" narrative.

I don't care about someone's religion. It's like you have to be religious to even have a shot at the white house. I can't wait until there's a viable atheist candidate.

If you don't care about their religion, why would you want them to be atheist? That seems like a contradiction.

I want an atheist president, too! But not because I don't care about religion but because I personally thing religion is just a nicer word for organized magical superstitions. (Just my opinion, I'm not trying to be offensive, it's just that opinions, well, kind of are offensive.)

Sadly, a recent poll showed most Americans would be more comfortable with a gay president than an atheist president, so I think we're a long ways off.

Now a gay president could be fun!
