3 for 3! This article makes me giggle! I'm a redhead and I like to keep a little tuft just to prove that "the carpet matches the curtains"! And Seraphimm- what works for me is to do it in the bath, underwater with one of those fancy 4 or 5 blade razors. The underwater trick helps to minimize friction.

Okay so how about some REALLY useful information - like how to prevent ingrown hairs down there!

it doesnt hurt me at all, i just take care of it everytime i shower, hehe. just dont let it get long, that's the key.

Is it just me or does anyone else think the 3rd question is kinda loaded? Do you mean vaginal infection in the literal sense (infection of the vagina) or do you mean from sexual activities? I was thinking the question alluded to a study that showed some percentage of women who shave reported having more infections than those who didn't. Do some women in certain professions/regions/ethnicities tend to shave more than others?

Maybe I'm just disappointed that I only missed the 3rd question... =P

I used to shave, but hated the regrowth period. It feels like miniature knives piercing the skin! Now, I just trim the hair really short with a bikini trimmer (available at your Bed Bath & Beyond).

Wambalus - Tend Skin liquid! You can get it at Sephora, and even though it's kinda pricey ($20 for four ounces), it is so absolutely worth it. I've tried soooo many different things, and it's the only thing that's ever worked for me.

I only shave during swimsuit season, because it hurts so much for me. But maybe I'll try quitecontrary's tips. Steal my bf's razor one night and a cartridge for myself... he'll never know! lol

Shaving with a razor drives me nuts, so I use one of those personal little trimmers. You can get them at your beauty store (Ulta for me) or even places like Walgreens I believe. You can get a really close shave and it doesn't hurt at all. I feel weird having absolutely nothing down there...is that strange?
