If I could teleport back to the past and I was given the choice between the 60's or 70's, no question I would pick the 70's. The 60's were a decade of turmoil and strife, while the 70's were a decade of platform shoes and The Gong Show. American Idol should take some cues from this show--instead of elevating no-talents, it should gong them right off the stage. Fun for everyone!
