I think she has been in the Nevada sun too long, because she is totally stupid to sell her virginity for college money. I have heard women going into porn films to pay for their college education, but this ranks up to the worst ideas of paying for college. I love how they say she is "willing to undergo a physical examination". Uh . . . no. There is no way to examine a woman's genitalia and determine whether or not she's had penetrative sex. First of all, there is no standard shape or size of a hymen, so examining it isn't going to conclusively say if it has or has not been altered. Also, your hymen becomes thinner and more fragile after puberty, so examining a 21 year old is going to much less conclusive than, say, a preteen whose hymen is probably thick enough to examine.

OK folks. To those of you who are telling me "it's her body, she can do what she wants with it," I agree with you. I actually think prostitution should be legal so that it's regulated and safe for women. Having said that, as a woman, do I find it depressing? Yes. Would I want my daughter or someone I care about doing that? No. Do I think it's the best, safest way to get money for college that's going to make this woman feel good about herself later? Uh, no. Finally, this seems to up the ante on prostitution: it's a PUBLIC VIRGINITY AUCTION. A little different from the usual prostitution scenario cuz it's more cynical and it's in my face. That is all.

Why is this wrong exactly ? And how many women don't regret their first experience ? At least she's getting compensated for it rather than having a drunken wow-that-was-stupid moment. Some people view sex as sacred, others view it as just intimate fun between consenting adults. Still others (men, mostly) are willing to pay just to look at something that exists on more than three billion people. If they want to throw money at you and you feel comfortable taking it, go right ahead. I'm sure as hell not going to judge her for it.

Now that people know what she looks like, how will this effect her future career? Will she get more business as a therapist? Good for you I say. This is something I would totally do if I didn't have certain religious obligations/hang-ups. I'm 30, technically a virgin still, hitting third base with some guy I met from online. (It wasn't ever romantic with him, just wanted to "explore"...etc.) It's sad, but true about growing older and having reality slap u in the face year after disappointing year. The fact that people are so promiscuous and oversexed, they can't FATHOM someone actually not giving-in to the sexual impluses. I agree, the first time is never what it should be, so might as well have a lovely parting gift. BTW-- I got loans to finance college, and since graduating (almost 9 yrs ago!), still owe $14,000.
