According to an online poll taken by Travel +Leisure magazine, Miami residents are the most attractive in the US. As someone who's visited there, I can see why! Philadelphia came in last at number 25, with New Orleans as a close runner-up. When looking at the correlation between good-looking people and singles, you might be pleasantly surprised — seems like there are a lot of pretty single people out there, especially in San Francisco and Texas. The notion of a specific place having more good-looking people than another is kind of funny, but it's so true! When ever I travel to New York or Los Angeles, there's someone beautiful to look at everywhere you turn. In my opinion, the best-looking people reside in the Big Apple, but what about you? What city do you think houses the best-looking people?

I agree with DearSugar that NYC has the best looking people. I was born and raised in the city so I may be just a teeeeny, tiny bit bias. LOL

1I'm not sure. Haven't been to enough to give my thoughts. BUT I thought it was really funny this morning to listen to the radio station that I always lisen to (Philly station) and they were talking about how they were voted the to have the ugliest people. I think some of them were really hurt!

16it depends on what you consider good looking though! I have a friend who loves living in Texas because she's into the whole "good ol' boy" cowboy look, which I am sooooo not a fan of! And whenever I go to NYC I'm getting whiplash from staring at the hot guys on every corner, whereas she is not so impressed.
I can see how LA and Miami would win because there's something for everyone - hippies, plastics, bohemians, beach bunnies and even yuppies . . . . whatever you like they have.

25I live in New York, but the best looking overall population, in my opinion, is in San Antonio. Great looking people there!
26I would say it is between LA, Miami, and NYC. That is where most of the modeling agencies are so the 'beautiful" people gravitate to them. I live in S. FL and go to South Beach fairly regularly so I see them a lot.

28I agree with ladolce about the natural beauty in San Diego. I always felt ugly in NYC but prettier in San Diego. Somethin about dressing casual and not trying so hard that just makes you feel good in your own skin
29I think the whole debate is kind of shallow personally. Who cares which city has the prettiest people? What about the kindest or the most welcoming... maybe the smartest or the least superficial. I would like a list of those places please

35i live in NYC and i think that we have a LOT of great looking people but i have to say that when i lived in Florida - in ft lauderdale specifically i could agree that south florida had the prettiest people. i think that there's something to be said about someone who's not only in shape but who has that healthy tan/glow from the climate which makes a person more attractive.

37Not counting transplants in many of the metro cities - the most beautiful people come from the South and the Midwest. Hands down. The beautiful people in LA, NYC and other cities... they came from the heartland.

40I would say that Miami would be right up there. When the weather is always hot you have to be in great shape to wear such skimpy clothes practically all year round. Miami is a very sensual place so that always helps to have sexy people.
Single people are usually sexier because they have to try a lot harder. Married or coupled men and women aren't trying to attract a mate (hopefully) so they aren't going to put in as much effort.
I wouldn't limit sexiness to one city anyway because there are sexy people in every city and town and there are always ugly folks to.
