13at first i thought it was awful and i was laughing with embarrassment for her, and then i was like, wait--she's so doing this sarcastically. she totally knows she looks like a douche and so do those guys. i mean seriously listen to the words of that song! who would have thought to write a song with any of those words together?! i think this is pretty damn funny. not a huge alanis fan, but i just think this shows that she has a sense of humor and is pretty intelligent. plus she has no problem making fun of herself, which is pretty cool in my book.

16I love her voice. I always have. You didnt get to really hear how beautiful it was through Jagged Little Pill, but her next album really brought it out. I love her. If you listen to her music, especially Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie..You really see her personality. She's extremely intelligent and great with words and has a really great, witty, smart sense of humor. Ive always had a weird fascination with her and especially her personality. So yeah...totally sarcastic. She's a bit of a minimalistic, extremely spritual person. She really "found" herself on a trip she took to India a while back
17and got into alot of the philosphies over there. So knowing that and then seeing her sing and do a video of a song that is all about flashing and being material goods, brand names wh@re..is definately ironic. I guess by doing what she did, it's her way of saying "see how stupid/ridiculous this lifestyle is/can be?" I think it's genius..lol

18Are there people that really don't get the joke?! I thought this was hysterical. Seems a little sad that the blogger for "gigglesugar" didn't get it. I don't think there could have been a better way to point out how ignorant and mindless that song is. Alanis is awesome.

i just can't stand fugrie. because of these songs and her whole look. she is such a pawn for will.i.am and loving all the cash coming in. makes me sick. just as bad as the Pussycat Dolls in my opinion. shameful.
