I dont have a blackberry but i have a phone and i loooove turning it off...its fun when people cant get ahold of you but then people freak like where are you, are you okay??
I don't turn mine OFF, but I turn it on silent... no emails vibrating through, no ringing, no text alerts, no voice mails dings.... just silence. And I bury it in the bottom of my purse....
what is fun, is seeing how many missed calls, texts, and emails you get from people wondering where you are. I tend to turn mine off for DAYS... not really hours... Saturday and Sunday if you
haven't planned ahead, don't bother calling....

1i know what you mean! lol. i like doing it sometimes but sometimes it makes me feel disconnected from the rest of the world...and makes me panic lol

3I would never turn my phone off. I turn it on silent maybe but not off.
4I can always ditch my phone but never for that long but never turning it off...that is crazy
