No matter how beautiful or perfect you may think someone is, I can almost guarantee that they have their own set of insecurities just like you and me. While the female body is a beautiful form no matter what shape or size, it's really all about the way you feel inside in regard to how you look on the outside. And even though it's commonly just in our heads, most women I know have at least one part of their body that they wish could be smaller, tighter, leaner, prettier, or just plain different from what it currently is. Sound familiar? If so, do tell, what part of your body are you most insecure about?

My love handles. I feel like they are huge, and since I can't look at myself from behind, I can't tell if they are bad or not.
1My abs (where I gain all my weight) and my teeth...wish I could afford invisaline!!
2my legs. They look soo much better now that Im working out 3-4x a week. I'm actually wearing shorts!!
It feels great to feel comfortable in your own skin. Its hard work but its worth it!
CreateMagic, I was insecure about my teeth too! I finally got invisalign last year and it has been the best investment in yet. Im already done and I now have straight teeth. People compliment my smile alll the time. Find a way to get them, you wont regret it.
3my stomach. after having 3 kid in less then 4 yrs. then after loosing a lot of weight. i have tons of baggy skin in that area. eww!
4my tummy...
5my butt! I have wide hips and I've never liked my butt.
6My tummy (it's so hard for me to lose weight there) and my (non-existant) a$$! haha I need to get a booty.
7I hate my thighs... I'm feel pretty good about the rest of my body but no matter how much weight I lose or how much more muscle I build, my thighs always look gigantic to me.
8boobs, or lack thereof. in this society, boobs are the epitomy of femininity. there's just no substitute
9stomach and love handles. didn't think they were that bad until my bf took a picture of me naked ...
10That little pouch on my abs from having two kids. The rest of my stomach is muscular and toned. I workout alot and do a variety of weights, cardiovascular and flexibility. Everybody always tell me it looks good but you know we are our own critic.
Also, my boobs-because I want cleavage. It just looks better in certain outfits.
11I lost a bunch of weight between the ages of 14-18 so now I have stretch marks on my hips and boobs and I just feel extremely self-concious about it especially since it seems as if there aren't any other girls my age with stretch marks.
12My hips and thighs. Ugh.
13Breasts (they are gigantic - G/H/J cup, depending on the bra maker) and stomach (I gain all my weight in my waist/stomach and I could pass for 2-3 months pregnant).
To a lesser degree, my skin - had a lot of acne in my teens/early 20 and I have a fair bit of scarring, plus I'm really oily. But it's not nearly as bad as it used to be.
14None, really.
15My hips. They are slim but my hipbones are very high, so form the back it looks like I've got love handles even when I don't. If I wear low pants, it looks like my butt is loooong and flat. It's something I can't change either because it's my bone structure. Grrrrr.
16my stomach because i have this ugly scar on it!
17Hips and big ole soft ball throwing arms hahahaaa .. but I know what I can do to minimize them so it's all good : )
18My stomach pooch and love handles that I gained in college and now can't seem to get rid of.
19I have the height, curves and almost exact vital stats of a Victoria's Secret model (no kidding, a friend measured me and checked). I'm really pretty happy with everything. On contrary to most people, I love walking around in a bikini simply just to show off. I love hearing 'whoa, are you a model?? you should be!' at least a few times a week. Stupid and narcissistic, I know, but I still love it. All of us get a good deal in some areas of life and a bad deal in others, so I see nothing wrong in being happy with the good stuff.
20By the way, the girl in the pic is very pretty! Great skin, too. ok sorry, off topic
21My teeth are what I'm insecure about. I wish I had a flatter stomach, but I can't say I feel any insecurity about my body 97% of the time.
22my stomach definitely. I had 2 kids in 2 years when I was 19 and 21 and both were c sections and my stomach has never been the same. That, and the stretch marks. I hate them.
23I'm content with my body. I'm comfortable in my own skin.
"boobs, or lack thereof. in this society, boobs are the epitomy of femininity. there's just no substitute Sad"
Lawchick, that's not exactly true. Look at Audrey Hepburn. She's an icon of style, grace, and beauty, and she's flat-chested. When it comes to femininity, she suffered no deficit.
Personally, I think women with small or no chest have very lady-like figures. Very elegant.
I understand that having nice breasts makes for a provocative figure, but that's NOT the only form of feminine beauty. Metaphorically, it's like Marilyn Monroe vs. Audrey Hepburn. Both icons had different appeal, and both were feminine.
Sorry, for this long reply.
24In speaking about small boobs, yeah, the Maxim Magazine crowd isn't into that so much, but if you think about it, many of the young modern beauties--like Keira Knightley and Natalie Portman--are quite small-chested. And IMO they would lose a lot of what makes them graceful and unique if they were bustier.
25*I'm not knocking big knockers--I have big ones--just saying that there is room for the more small-breasted kind of beauty as well as the buxom sort.
26My legs, but mainly thighs. I can get over thick calves, at least they're muscular, but I hate my thighs and the way they "roll over" my knees, so I never wear anything shorter than knee-length.
27Oh ladies, I know - I agree that Audrey Hepburn, Keira Knightley, etc are beautiful and classy-looking women with their boyish figures --- it just seems like women appreciate different types of female bodies more than men often do. I know I shouldn't base how feminine I feel on "what men think," but that's tough!
28everything from the hips down.
29I don't like my boobs b/c they aren't up at attention. They never were actually. However, I get no complaints about them and a good bra works wonders.
30Boobs. I'm 26 and look like a 14 year old in that area. It just isn't fair!!!
31My belly of course and maybe my arm muscle.
32my stomach. It's a pouch now. I have never been this big before. I feel like three skinny girls in a plus sie body.
33My thighs. I lose weight all over but my thighs just seem to stay the same!!! It's soooo annoying.
34My thighs. They're big, which I don't mind terribly, but it's the cellulite all over them that I absolutely despise. I could work out all day long and it will still be there. It comes from my dad's side of the family because my mom (and everyone in her family) doesn't have an ounce of it!
35Um thighs and hips mostly...my thighs always seem fat to me and it's like there is no exercise that tones your thighs (any ideas?) And I don't like my love handles even though they aren't that bad and I have wide hips.
I actually LOVE the Keira Knightley/Audrey Hepburn look, not that anyone is bad or anything if they don't look like that, everyone is pretty in their own way, of course! That look just happens to be my favorite. I agree with others that that look is elegant and beautiful, so I wish I had thighs/hips to fit that look, lol.
Oh and I agree with lawchick: "it just seems like women appreciate different types of female bodies more than men often do. I know I shouldn't base how feminine I feel on "what men think," but that's tough!"
36I'ts like women appreciate beauty so we see the beauty in any kind of body and men only appreciate sexuality, which is scientifically just one kind of body, one that promotes youth and baby making abilities. :/
Muirnea, I swear by backwards and forward lunges, as well as plies. But in order to tone and slim, you'll need some fat-burning aerobic activity as well.
37My leg, and part of my butt. I have port wine stain and I hate looking at it. It covers my whole leg and half of my ass.
38My tummy and love handles have to be the worst, they seem to blob out not matter what I do. My fiance tries to make fun of my butt (it has dimples) but I think it's cute and perky, and the dimples just mean it's got personality. Besides, it's cushy to sit on!
39Thank you Jude!!!!
I love running even if I don't do it as much as
I should, so that will be good for the aerobic part.
40My stomach. While I'm kinda proportionately fat all over, I'm most dissatisfied with my middle.
41My legs, but especially my thighs.
42My abs/stomach. That is were I gain weight and deal with a fatty layer. Ugh, I hate it since it makes me look out of proportion with the rest of me. I also don't care for my face right now; dealing with acne. Yeah, I'm definitely insecure.
43My teeth. My legs. My ass.
Oh, like every woman then...
Not my stomach though. It remains reasonably toned when I gain weight because I'm a pear shape.
44My boobs and my tummy. My tummy is where all my weight gain goes, it's flabby looking at the moment and not a lot I do is budging it! Ah well, if perseverance doesn't overcome this issue. I'll settle for being flubby.
I also have issues with my boobs, since my boy told me he'd like them bigger (to an unreasonable size. Freaking F! hell no!) I've though they were a little small and a little flat. I'm a C and thats not puny but..
45I hate the fact that I get adult acne. Luckily it's not that bad...I can go for months without it, but then it will stick around for months. It's usually just a few, but it's like those huge things that start out as uncomfortable lumps and turn into spewing volcanoes.
I also have tons of scars all over my body from when I had chicken pox when I was 14. I especially hate the ones on my bottom lip.
Oh, and my undereye circles. So basically my problems are with my skin. Which is funny, because some people have told me I have great skin and I laugh. I guess it's just because I'm two inches from the mirror when I'm looking at myself and they're not that close.
I'm surprised no one else has mentioned skin.
46Tummy area
47My body shape. I'm like a pear shape that's flat in the back but round in the front. I'm flat on top and in the back, but my stomach is poochy and I have love handles. I have really wide hips, so my ass is just wide and flat. I also have saddlebags that I can't get rid of. I'm underweight but still a pear--it sucks.
48my butt and thighs
49Two things: my legs and my skin. Both have bothered me since middle school and no matter what I do I don't like either one. I don't have acne at all, I actually have really dry skin, eczema and under eye circles. My main problem with my legs is that, although I am fairly tall, they are short for my body and are where I hold most all of my weight... and not in a pleasant way! Not to mention that I am possibly the only person I know who bloats in their thighs. Sigh.
