OMG. This video is unnerving. As the doll for sale stares blankly up at the ceiling, a nervous Mike Rowe makes small talk with a stalkerish, lonely caller who seems to live for QVC. Mike must be sooo glad he got the hell out of this job and into roles in Hollywood. Wowsers. Lee, please hide your credit card, get out of the house, and see your friends and family! QVC is not your friend.

Wow this woman buys a bunch of junk she doesn't need from QVC and all her cards are maxed out...
1I find this video very sad. The idea of scamming older people out of their money and convincing them to buy things they don't need is one of those things that makes me lose faith in humanity. For this woman (it sounds like a woman at least), it seems she's buying things to replace the lack of human interaction she receives.

7A lot of QVC and HSN callers sound like her, they are just enthusiastic that's all.
8yeah I have heard a lot of calls similar to this but none that flat out say their credit cards are maxed out and they pay several times a month just to continue shopping by tv! a little freaky but sadly part the norm...
