Often, there’s a social stigma attached to men who cry. But of course, men get sad, too, and sometimes that sadness is reflected in tears. I mean, they’re only human. Most guys are more apt to keep this act to themselves, so when they enter into a relationship with someone they can trust, it can be a relief to have a literal shoulder to cry on. So does your significant other cry in front of you or does he keep his tears private, behind closed doors?

so sad and so bad
3He doesn't a lot, so when he did I knew he meant what he was telling me. My baby
ohkate.. iknow the feeling
4I wanted to cry just looking at him!
This is tough. My husband almost never cries in front of me. We've been together for over 10 years, and I think perhaps I've seen him cry maybe two times?? One time, he cried over his grandfather passing away. He was in a room alone, and walked in on him. We were getting ready for the funeral.
The other time he cried was when we were fighting. It was before we married, which was several years ago.
I guess that's it.
5My guy has said before he's not a crier. Yet he has cried (well more actually shed a tear or two) in front of me a few times. One time was when he was talking about this older man who is like a grandfather to him and is having heart problems. The other few times were when I was crying myself during an argument with him.
6he cried when we broke up
7I've seen my bf cry ONE time in the 3 (and a half) years we've been together. And he didnt even really cry, he shed A tear. It broke my heart. Im so glad hes not a crier though, I hate when boys cry, its wierd.
8he's never actually cried in front of me, but i've heard him over the phone try to hold it back.
9he's very much the type to hold it all in until i'm gone.
i've actually never cried in front of him either.
Just two times that I know of in four years and two months. He's not really a cry baby.
10Yeah, once, and it really broke my heart.
But it anyway really bothers me to see men cry--no matter what they're crying about, it makes me want to cry as well. You should have seen me during Saving Private Ryan. I felt like a leaky faucet.
11Just once so far with my hubby.
I did date a guy that cried all the friggin' time. It really got on my nerves after awhile.
12Once. The night after he found out his mom had breast cancer. Like ohkate, it absolutely broke my heart. Honestly, if he hadn't cried or shed a tear in front of me about it, I would have been more than a little bit concerned.
13My ex would only cry after really horrible fights. Of course, I cried a lot more than just the worst fights...
14he'll cry when I do, so, yeah, I've seen him cry a lot, lol
15he cried once when he thought our marriage was ending.
that was the only time.
16my beau cries all the time, no where near as much as me, but yeah. When we have to part ways for a time (work trips etc) and other reasons. He's not a crybaby but he does let his feelings out
17Aside from parting ways at the airport before I left for 5 months for Argentina, my fiance has only cried in front of me once...
The day we got engaged during the car ride home when "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds played. It may have been the sweetest thing ever.
18My boyfriend cried in front of me twice and saw him tear like once or twice. I don't know, but I felt like we got a deeper connection when he cried.
19I really wish my boyfriend had cried with me. When we broke up, I said "aren't you going to cry?", and he said he would when he got home.
