As if we needed proof that Metallica rules, here's more proof. This Capucin monk from Italy was so taken with the heavy metal heavy hitters when he saw them 15 years ago, he started his own heavy metal band. He's not doing heavy metal because he's trying to convert folks to Christianity, but rather because he thinks it teaches people to live life to the fullest. I love the alternate universe of cloistered monks. Some of them make amazing beer, and now, heavy metal music, too. Rock on, heavy metal monk!
