Matthew McConaughey's mom is trying to ride on her famous son's coattails with her new book I Amaze Myself! In it, she divulges some pretty personal information about her family, including the fact that Matthew was an accident and that her husband died while they were having sex. She even goes as far as saying "I was just so proud to show off my big old Jim McConaughey — and his gift" when talking about how he was taken out of their house in the buff!
The McConaughey's are clearly a free-spirited family, but I wonder how Matthew feels about his mom dishing all their family secrets? I know that I'd be pretty upset, not to mention embarrassed, but what about you? Even though what she's saying may be the truth, are some things, especially as personal as these, better left unsaid?

2I guess I feel like if she wants to spill the family secrets, that's fine, as long as she discussed everything in the book with the people she talks about.
I certainly won't be reading it, but if Matthew doesn't care about the entire world knowing he was an accident, then it's not my concern.

13That's so sad. Can you imagine how traumatizing it must be for someone to die while you're having sex with them? That would put me off sex for life.
14I think it's funny stuff, but I don't think I'd pick up the book. A big book of TMI moments? Nah. She should have a column in a magazine or blog where she shares these stories every week. Not all at once.

And his mom seems just really amused at the dying in bed story.
They're both just either baked most of the time or the chemical balance in their brains is somehow naturally composed of happy pills. It's still kind of amusing now, but it'll get old fast if they pop up in the spotlight all the time like those attention wh*res from "The Hills".
Anyway, probably over half of the world's population was an accident, anyway.
