McCain should pick someone who helps define and enhance his ticket - not as a response to Obama. So Biden's older and more experienced than Pawlenty - Lloyd Bentsen was older and more experienced than Dan Quayle and we know how that went.
1Here's my prediction: Hurricane Gustav will get more attention than the RNC.
2Let's hope your wrong unDave.
3It may not get more attention but I'm sure we'll all be begging for mercy from anchors' storm/convention analogies.
4Yeah, Steph! Let's hope so. It was beginning to remind me of watching the Olympics last night. Oh the joys of being confined to like 3 channels!
5LOL I'm betting your right Steph.
6On a related note. The governor of Louisianna has begun planning for hurricane Gustav, which is a much better start than what we had with the last hurricane that hit NO. Let's hope he doesn't need to follow through with his plan, but it's great that he actually has one.
Poor New Orleans - they've had enough
