Juggling work, friends, boyfriends, family, kids and your laundry list of errands can oftentimes leave you with almost no time for yourself. I can't even remember the last time I had a true "me day" to enjoy my apartment, my bathtub, and most of all, silence.
Some people confuse solitude with feelings of loneliness while others crave a break from the monotony and appreciate the time to self reflect and evaluate their goals and accomplishments. So what do you think? Do you give yourself enough "alone time" even if it's just to cozy up on the couch with a good book and a glass of wine? Or is your schedule booked solid?

I love my alone time! I never feel lonely, just relived that I get to do whatever I want. My huband travels a lot for work, so I am usually alone at least one night a week and I don't mind it, in fact I really like it.
1Man I spend a lot of my time actually alone. And I love it. I'm flexible but I also won't spend time with b*tchy people. Waste of my time and my life !
2I certainly crave my alone time but I never get any. I live in a tiny student flat with six other people and my boyfriend lives with me in my room that's so small we're always tripping over each other. Alone time is much cherished when it comes.
3i love my alone time but since i just started a new job, i won't have that much more of it and i hate it!
4i've always loved my alone time, i usu. write in my journal, sleep (lol!), watch tv, read, do my nails..just have some alone time. i love it!
I hardly ever get alone time!! My kids have my attention most of the time. I NEED alone time!!!! A good book would be wonderful!!!!
5I love my alone time... I try to ensure that I always get it by waking up at least 30 minutes before my boyfriend but it doesn't always work out.
A whole day; now that's a luxury I rarely get.
6I work at home alone, but being alone and working isn't as fun as being at home and just having the whole day to myself. I love not having to answer to anyone else's schedule!!
7I work at home alone, but being alone and working isn't as fun as being at home and just having the whole day to myself. I love not having to answer to anyone else's schedule!!
8it's not that i'm a "social butterfly," but i feel strange when i don't have something to do that's due tomorrow. i hate just having time without something to do. i love keeping busy!
9let’s just say that circumstances being what they are (and have been for the past 6 years) solitary confinement sounds REALLY wonderful.
10I definitely get a lot of alone time! My boyfriend is off at work all day and I don't have children yet, so I'm usually alone at home most of the day. Luckily I'm an introvert and enjoy spending time alone reading, watching movies, looking after my pets, & surfing the net.
11I love alone time too! Although I enjoy being social, there is nothing like QT time by myself. I schedule at least one night a week at home, alone, doing whatever it is I want to do, and it is my favorite night of the week, by far!
12I embrace any time I get to myself because I don't get much of it. When I have alone time, I don't even answer the phone because it's ME time.
13my alone time is usually spent reading and exercising.
14I should exercise MORE though.
or i just hand ard at home and play with my dog.
i'm no statitition but... is there a trend? i love alone time too. I like having the option to be social or reclusive.
15I CRAVE alone time like your second option, but I don't have a standing date.
I wish I did,
I'm an awesome date! lol

If I don't get enough alone time I turn into a cranky b*tch. I lived alone in college and LOVED it.
17Yep, i definately turn into someone not very nice if i don't get my personal space
I
like to do my own things..My partner hates wasting time so we compliment each other. When he sees me wasting time like reading stupid magazines, he tells me off
He encourages me to be productive when I'm alone which is cool with me.
18well, i'm very alone when i do a lot of the things i have to do, but i don't consider it "alone time". i like the quietness of my thoughts when i'm swimming laps, though. so i guess that counts.
19thinking about this topic inspired me to take a bubble bath in the middle of the day today
and read a book just for pleasure (how to be lost), rather than do laundry and clean while everyone was out of the house. it was wonderful and i'm doing it more often!!!
20I am glad you treated yourself today Lickety Split-- your day sounds wonderful!
21I have to spend time alone, otherwise people wouldnt want to be around me!
