Whenever the opportunity presents itself, I'll eavesdrop. On the bus, the airplane, in line — I just love overhearing what other people are talking about! Since I'm so fascinated by people, it's a perfect way to get a glimpse inside the lives of others without being creepy or stalkerish. I'm of the mindset that if you're having a conversation in any public place, it can't be all that confidential. Perhaps I'm invading, but it sure is entertaining! Are you the same way? Do you like to eavesdrop, too?

if i hear a few words that grab my interest and they're speaking loud enough for me to hear, i might follow along
1no..since i am partially deaf...a lot of things i can't hear...which can sometimes be a good thing!!!
2yeah I do ... may not be nice, but if you are speaking loud enough and in public then you shouldn't consider what you are saying as private.
3Sometimes I listen at home or when I'm out, but that is rarely.

7i can actually have a conversation and listen to another conversation (mommy skill) so yes if i hear something interesting.
8Yes I'm terribly guilty of it! I just can't help it. My bf gets mad b/c he'll be talking to me and I'm too busy listening to someone elses conversation. Oops!
9i actually try really hard not 2 hear other people's conversations, because i find it so rude when i catch someone all trying to eavesdrop on me or my friends, i think it's even worse if u know the person, like snooping on your brothers phone conversation, or your friends... nosyyy
10I dislike listening in on other people's conversations. I do not want people trying to listen in on my conversations so why would I do such a thing to them?. Sometimes it is difficult not to overhear their discusion since the person might talking right next to me; so I try to focus on something else, like a magazine or use my cell to browse the internet.

I was on the train once with my boyfriend and we were having a quiet chat. The lady behind us was dropping in on our conversation so I steered it towards the filthiest sexiest things I'd ever heard of, My boy caught on quickly and it soon turned quite gnarly.
16When our stop came this lady gave us the filthiest look. It was bloody hilarious!

17Kinda difficult not to when people are talking loudly about their personal lives on a cell phone on crowded public transportation.

19sometimes I just can't help it. what's awkward is when I interject into conversations, for instance when someone can't think of a word. I'm not trying to be nosy! I can't always block out all the background noises when I'm out in public so sometimes I can't help overhearing people's conversations.
20I mean if someone is yap yap yapping on the phone and I am all alone...yea I listen! It's ahrd not to!
