"Dancing With the Stars" is getting a lot of publicity this season because Paul McCartney's estranged wife, Heather Mills, is appearing on the show to dance with her prosthetic leg. (Bets are being placed on whether or not it's going to fly off during her performance.) This show has a genius for gathering as many Z-listers together as possible and somehow making it seem normal that they're in a dance-off. ("They Shoot Z-Listers, Don't They?") Although Heather Mills is also pretty Z list, esp since I think pple will just be watching to see if her prosthetic leg comes off! Both my grandparents had one, and I can't imagine how difficult it must be for her to perform.

2The only one on the list I know is Heather Mills, I don't know if that warrants a higher place than Z-List for her though.
3Heather mills is the most Z list to me because she's only famous for marrying + divorcing a Beatle and then trying to get all his money. I love how they call her a "Charity Campaigner". Not that thats bad, but I mean she's not like an Actress or Athlete like everyone else aka a "Star"

9Please correct your bio for Apolo. He is neither a former athlete nor an Olympic skier. He continues to be a world champion short-track speed skater. In fact, he was training and competing while preparing for the show...You should get the facts right before asking people to call him Z-list based on erroneous information.
10Ginger, shortaej, and pucca, my apologies for not checking facts carefully before I posted that stuff on Apolo and Clyde. Clearly, I am NOT a sports fan. It's fixed now. (Why, oh, why does the one photo I find of Clyde have him in a baseball cap?!)
Having said that, they may be A-List stars in their respective sports arenas, but they are Z-Listers in the world of Hollywood-type celebrity. As soon as they start showing up at Playboy Mansion parties and "Dancing With the Stars," they have to stand at the end of the celebrity line, where I get to call them Z-listers if I wanna...

Apolo is super cool on the track, and was quite the pin-up after the 2002 Winter games. (Perhaps the soul patch was smaller then.) Amazing dedication and focus for his sport, one of the best in the world, which is why I can't believe he's even on this silly show. He's always been somewhat enigmatic.
Now I might actually have to watch an episode. Yikes.
