Make Up For Ever
My boyfriend, being the romantic that he is, ask me to marry him by text message of all things on Thanksgiving night. We were in a crowded room full of my family and I thought I would pass out after reading it. He then came over and got on one knee, it was great. I had only been waiting on this from him for 15 years.
1Wow... 15 years??? That's a LONG time to wait!
2How about planning a bridal shower- my best friend is getting married at the end of July- I have to plan a shower!
3Fantastic- we have about 5 weddings to go to this spring & summer. Could we have something from Fab about different kinds of wedding attire for the attendees? (spring wedding, evening wedding, island wedding, etc)
4i didnt know there was a wedding season thats strange.
congrats to anyone getting married i guess.
5I have 2 wedding to go to. One in May, the other in September. Ideas will come in handy. Congrats, kittengotclaws! 15 years is a long time to wait. Patience pays off I guess
6I just got engaged in February and I haven't started the serious planning yet so this is fantastic!
7how about being a bridesmaid in an overpriced destination wedding?
8Tanning is not a skin color, Brian, its a lifestyle.
I could really use some help with color coordinations and possible styles and themes. I'm having an outdorr wedding but it's over a year away. I know that sounds retarded but I have the venue booked now, well I'm not the one paying for it (his mom is), but that's all that I have. Maybe I'll just wait some more...
9yayyyyyyy i love all things weddings!!! I am not married or engaged but I absolutely love to plan my wedding in my head.
10Hmmm been married and divorced
)
(cruel, huh)
11But you guys enjoy!
It´s a wonderful theme to talk about... We, modern and independent women, very inside and secretly, just think about it. Don´t we?
Romance is in the air.... ;-D
12im getting married in may exactly 2 months from today, its getting very stressful but i might miss the chaos when its over... weddings are fun and unfortch everything is booked and decided with the colors and so forth but any new ideas might be cool! dont leave it too long though dont have much time!!
13Thanks everyone, I say "waiting" though marriage wasn't really something we talked about much. We were just happy being, so I was in total shock when he asked
14Beth I'm with you!! I love weddings as well and I am nowhere near to being married or even engaged, haha! Congrats to all you engaged gals! My Brother is getting married in 2 months and I cannot wait for their wedding!
