You and your boyfriend have been dating for over a year now, and while you both prided yourself on working out prior to your relationship, after changes at work, and a decrease in free time, life has gotten in the way of your usual routines. After months it’s finally showing. Would it be worse if . . .
This: Your boyfriend’s packed on the pounds big time? He’s eating healthier, but he’s not enthusiastic about putting in the effort to actually lose the weight.
Or . . .
That: You’ve put on some weight in your mid-section, and though your boyfriend hasn’t said anything, you know he’s noticed? The worst part is that it's definitely your problem area, and it's going to be a huge pain to lose.

I'm sorry but I would rather it be my boyfriend that gains the weight for the both of us!
Realistically, it won't happen though since he's in the Marines and watches what he eats all the time.
1He loses weight so quickly it's amazing. He's skinny winny too so he can afford to gain some weight.
2This. Only because I'm way more motivated than him so if I gained weight, I know I would get rid of it. If he did...he would just get bigger and bigger!! And he already has a bit of a beergut. Ack!
3Way worse if I gain weight then him... he could use a few pounds, I could lose a bunch haha
4Worse if I gained weight!!!!
5anyone but meee
6Worst if I gain weight....men lose weight so quick..my bf can have a bit of a belly than excercise and eat right for a week and he is all hot again ...damn him!
7I can definitely deal with HIS weight gain, but mine - well, that's harder to control and fix, in my experience.
8Truthfully, to me, it's equally bad. If it's me, the reasons are obvious -- I would feel fatique, have less stamina, and I won't be happy with my appearance.
If it's on him, I wouldn't be happy either. Understand that I'm a very visual person, almost like a man. I would find him less arousing if he "packed on the pounds big time." Sorry, truthfully, it would diminish my sex drive. Like I said, I'm very visual. I find a fit body much more stimulating. JMHO.
9Worse if I put on weight. I guess its just laziness but I'm busy enough without having to put in extra exercise!
10I'd rather he gained since he loses it a lot easier. I have a lot to lose anyway so I'd rather not gain anything.
11I'd rather he gain weight
12i see guys lose weight easier then woman...sometimes..so i'd rather it be him who gains it.
13It's so much worse if I put on weight. I'm already about 10 pounds heavier than my fiance NOW (I've lost a lot of weight), so I cannot stand to gain more weight. He, however, can stand to gain some weight and I would not be complaining at all.
14Him, because I like a bit of meat on a man.
15I would MUCHH rather him gain weight then me. He can definitely afford to. Me? Not so much.
16He can get as fat as he wants, but I hate getting fatter!
17I agree with GlowingMoon. They're both equally bad. I gained weight, but my boyfriend gained more than I did.
18My boyfriend could use gaining some weight.
19I'd rather someone else gain than me
20My husband was a wrestler in highschool and college, so he can drop weight so fast it's crazy. He lost 20lbs in 12 days just so he could look 'ripped' for our beach vacation
So, I vote for him!
21where i live in europe most of the women here are stick figures with husbands who look like penguin from batman.
22eek bbkf, my guy is a boxer so i know about all the weight cutting but watch out for him! dehydration + sunny vacation = heart problems!
23i'd rather have him gain weight. because i find skinny men ugly. i dont like FAT guys but i love tall and CHUBBY guys. i am never attracted to skinny guys, its ugly. but i looooove chubby
