While the rest of us watch the Olympic Opening Ceremonies held at China's National Stadium on TV, leaders from around the world flew to the "Bird Nest" for the occasion. An exceptional number of leaders — 104 according to planners — attended the event. But not everyone showed up. Do you know which leaders watched in person as China and the athletes took the world stage, and who stayed home?

I'm good!
1You know I have to say that after reviewing nearly 200 photographs this morning of the opening ceremonies I am pleased that the Olympics are in Beijing. The fantastic look of pride on the Chinese people’s faces was really very telling that whatever differences our governments may have in the end this belongs to the people. I am very happy for them.
2That's a pretty beautiful building.
I WANT TV!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3Interesting about Rudd.
4Interesting about Rudd.
5Saw Bush on TV last night. Waving and grinning like and idiot when the U.S. team went by. Looking bored throughout the rest.
