Sometime in the last couple decades shopping has become a tongue-in-cheek euphemism for therapy, at least as far as ladies are concerned. If you’re sad, it’s nothing a quick trip to the mall won’t fix, or so Cher from Clueless taught us. But even though I'm a fan, frankly, I think it’s just silly to assume that all women get a kick out of shopping. In fact, some women I know find themselves feeling more down than ever after a few minutes in a dressing room. So ladies, let me ask, do you enjoy shopping?

Hence my nickname: I
shopping! I could seriously do it all day and not get tired of it
but at the same time I have had buyer's remorse on a few occasions but it still doesn't stop me from shopping.
1I try to avoid shopping, but when I do, I tend to linger.
2I picked option 2- I like it for the little goodies I bring home.
3I feel guilty when I spend money, even though we have the money, it's just how I was raised. I hate dressing rooms because they have mirrors that make you look 40 lbs heavier- I swear they do, and I'm totally depressed. I do like the new style of longer shirts because me with a short body and medium torso the shirts make me feel/look better.
It makes me feel good.
4i enjoy to much im addicted actually i wish someone would pay me to shop, my fiance hates it but he forks over the money and will watch my kids plus my niece and nephew so he can get out of going with me
5I do at times!
6Sometimes when I am not in the mood I can hate it and get grumpy.
But as long as I knwo what I want and find what I want, I am a happy cmaper
if I ahve money to spend, great. If not, I hate window shopping...it makes me sad and miffed that I cant buy stuff
7Depends entirely on what you're shopping for. If it requires research or just unfamiliarity, ick, not really. I do like grocery shopping and reminding myself to get organic or locally grown, plus to watch the kinds of things I prepare.
Clothes shopping, yeah, but not lately given the dropping pounds.
8i'm such a shopaholic
9i could, like shopaholichunny said, go all day every day
its literally one of my favorite things to do, but never alone. its a good bonding opportunity with good friends and my mom and sister
my sister, who is a student and doesnt have much money, hates shopping with me lately because i cannot go into one store without buying something. its an illness. it doesnt matter what kind of store it is.
10I've actually started hating malls... but I do love actually getting new things. Internet window shopping is becoming one of my favorite time killers.
11shopaholichunny, we are two peas in a pod!
(oh, and skigurl, too! - so I guess we
are three peas in a pod - LOL!)
I have seriously spent nearly the entire day running around shopping at different stores, then come home and log on to the internet to do more online shopping for the rest of the evening! I LOVE shopping!
12my last boyfriend complained because i didn't like to shop. he LOVED shopping & always wanted to take me out to buy new clothes, but i just wasn't that into it. i have to be in the mood to look or else it just makes me grumpy.
13its okay. for some reason i can only find stuff i like when i have no money, and when i feel like shopping when the money is flowing, i can never find anything i like.
go figure...
14i like to spend money so much that when i'm at work, i think of ways to spend money
like sometimes i will walk to the pharmacy down the street at lunch to buy face wipes or rubbing alcohol just for the sake of buying something
my mom and sister and i find it so weird when women don't like to shop. like my aunt, she hates it but her husband and daughter love it...but we took her on a shopping trip to a town with tons of outlets and she got into it
i think there's an inner shopper in everyone
15I'm addicted to shoppin, I believe....but I CANNOT shop with other people! I want to go at my own pace, and not wait on anyone. I could shop all day, everyday, for anything.
16I went to a sale at Holt Renfew...and was sad to know that even at 60% off i cannot afford Jimmy Choos
17I love shopping. But since I've gained some weight I don't' really like clothes shopping now
18I hate the ACT of shopping - traffic, parking, crowds, waiting in line, trying things on, etc. But I love the RESULT of shopping, which is more pretty stuff for me!
19yeah if i have money which is rarley cuz i need a job id go shopping. basically myt parents go grocery shopping never really 4 new clothes. i personally have nothing 2wear. and theres nothing where i live u have 2 go 2 new hampshire and other places.
20LOL, skigurl! I, too, have bought anything just for the sake of buying something - do you think that means we have a problem?? Hey, maybe we should start a "support group" on sugar!!
21I don't like shopping...I just spent 27 dollars on a new purse and THAT was a big deal for me...and I only bought it because my old one had a hole in it. I dont like shopping much and will only do it if I wear out something and I'll get something to replace it..
22I like doing it but I tend to get a lot of buyer's remose from doing it so THAT's why I don't enjoy it. If I had all the money in the world, I'm sure I wouldn't mind, though.
23I like online shopping. I'm not a fan of going to the mall.
24I'm mixed- sometimes I really really want to shop, and I go through stages of beauty product shopping or clothes or lingerie . . other times I suffer from such severe buyer's remorse that I won't even think about getting near mall- I'm trying to be financially good, shopping is a financial-plague! I have a good job, need to save money for our wedding, marriage- the future. I wouldn't say i LOVE it though- defi just OK with it.
25I love shopping so much! I usually go at least every other weekend. I don't spend much though, I'm good like that. I can shop four hours and only come home with a couple of things, if anything at all.
26Like the idea, hate the reality. Unless I'm shopping for books, in about half an hour, I'm worn out, confused and headed for depression. I love to look at catalogs and would shop tried shopping exclusively through them for a while, but spent so much time and energy sending things that didn't fit back that I gave up.
27martini where do i sign up, i too will do anything to shop my fiance hates it he will do the grocery shopping because i will try to find stuff to buy there that i dont need i think i have a serious problem the more i spend the better, i love sales but dont have the patient to go through everything, and i hate shopping with people that hate shopping mostly everyone i know
28I think it's a bit of both. I do not like shopping all the time, but I actually spent all of last Saturday at the mall with a friend I hadn't seen in months. It was great to just walk around and catch up. Unfortunately we both have a slight lingerie addiction, and probably bought waaaaay too much! But spending all day there has forced us to make plans to wear everything we got so we will see more of each other!
29I just hate when i can't find something I like.... But I do love collecting my loot and emptying the bags on my bed! I think the after effect of shopping is the best!
30I *hate* clothes shopping, but I love shopping for home decor stuff and craft supplies.
31I looooove shopping. The mall is my natural habitat. I like shopping online, too. I just placed an order.
32Hey, pinkprincess - maybe I will start that group!
BTW, just got back from the Nordstrom anniversary sale - got the coolest purse and a ton of makeup and 3 pairs of shoes! WooHoo!!!
33i went to the mall during my lunch it is a 5 to 10 minute walk, i tell my fiance it is a good thing to walk that is my excuse and sticking with it, count me in martini
34i'm starting to think it's an impulse thing now. at first i was good and would only shop every few weekends. but lately i've been shopping every weekend and during the week too. each time i spend maybe $40 because i stick to sales, but it adds up each month. i usually go shopping on my lunch break too-- i would MUCH rather shop than eat. in fact, that's what i did today! bad bad bad.
35Like the way you think, pinkprincess!! Hey, shopping totally counts as exercise - walking around, lifting those heavy bags....
36its gotten to the point that alot of clothes in my closet still have tags, thats sad but the way i think about it, with the economy the way it is and not going to get better anytime soon its better to stock up, thats my story and im sticking to it, lol
37I can go either way, when I have money, I love to shop!
38Or how about....with the economy the way it is, it is your patriotic duty to do everything you can to shore it up??
39I really hate shopping
I try to go alone so my SO doesn't drag me all over the store for hours
on end lol. I want to go in, get what I need, and get the heck out!
40that to martini two great minds think alike
41I LOVE the new clothes! I would like to go now actually.....
42I have a shopping threshold. 90 minutes is my max if I am wandering around leisurely. Otherwise I have an idea of what I want and can pick a few pieces and make a decision or put it off for another attempt.
43I love to shop and have always enjoyed it. I can shop for hours (browsing and strolling along.) Although ever since my family went through money issues 2yrs ago, I go through a let down about 2 hrs after shopping. I start wondering if I deserved to buy the items and was it worth the money (even though I knew I could afford it and had planned out how much money I could/can spend.) I'm getting better now however the let down is still difficult sometimes.
44I can go either way.
45I like shopping.
46i enjoy shopping WAY too much!!
47I hate shopping. Doesn't matter where, what for, how much-- I can't stand it.
48i love shopping for the stuff i need. not only clotthes, but anything that i need
49i don't like really shopping specially to bought something online
