I loved Red Light, Green Light, Best-Bear, and the flints I found in the backyard, part of which contained an old arrowhead bed. My mom kept the perfect and whole arrowheads, and I got a box of flint I'd spend hours banging together in the dark. Good times.
Do tell, which childhood toys and games do you remember best?

American Vintage
Matthew Williamson
Bric's
i used to love my lite-bright (sp?) but i also loved going outside more than anything so my jumprope, my hula hoop and my skates were my favorite!
1I had a motorbike a little pee wee 50 it came with a bright orange flag with my name on it. The flag is still in the middle of the bush outside of town, it marks one of our various tree/cubby houses
I also had this round monster doll and when you squeezed him he made a
raspberry sound and poked his tounge out. I forget what it was called.
2~...she's poison in the well, razors in the apple core...~
Mr. Potato Head
3Raggedy Ann
Simon
Easy Bake Oven
skip-it. It was this thing that went around your ankle and it counted how many times you jumped over it. It was like jump rope but better! And that board game Mouse Trap
4Capture-the-flag, with all the neighbors in a combination of 3 backyards, and when it was dark outside we would do a twist with flashlights, a capturetheflag & flashlight tag thing.
5My favorite toy would have been my talking cricket doll and my cabbage patch kids and my favorite game and still is yahtzee and monopoly oh and I loved the etcha sketch

7I think my bike and Rainbow Brite doll were my favorite toys. As for games, I love those hand clapping games like Miss Mary Mac.
8The best toy I remember playing with was old thread spools. No - it wasn't a clever game or anything actually designed to be played with, but I loved them.
My grandmother had a whole basket of them at her house for me to play with, and I played with them like they were building blocks. I really think that those spools helped form my imagination (which can be borderline overactive some days).
9i loved playing kick the can with the neighborhood kids. we moved into a new house right before i turned 10 and there were no fences or grass or anything else. it was summer and at dusk someone would go out in the street and kick a can and that would be the signal for all the other kids to come out. we would stay out until maybe 10:00. then one by one all of the parents would call their kids to come it. there were these big piles of dirt to hide behind in the different back yards from whatever project the family was building. great fun.
there was also a rope swing in the canyon behind our house and i spent HOURS down there every day for a couple of years. then kids started getting hurt on it (broken arms, etc) and someones dad cut it down.
it was such an innocent child hood when i think about it. we had a lot of freedom to come and go as we pleased and all the families knew each other and looked out for the other children. now all the kids are married and we still come back at christmas with our kids. my girls love to go for hikes in the canyon with an adult. too many freaks these days to go by yourself
10We had some great trees in a nearby park where we played tree tag. We would play for hours.
I think my favorite toy was my my little pony castle. I think after 3 years of begging for me it my poor parents finally caved in and bought it for me to shut me up!
11one of my favorite games was playing teddy bear football with my older brother. we would line up the various bears against each other (that normally took about 10 minutes) and then run a play that would last about 5 seconds. this process was repeated various times until my brother would inevitably beat me.
we also played teddy bear wrestling with these huge bears my grandmother had gotten us. we would act like puppeteers and "fight" each other with our teddy bears and inevitably my brother would beat me (again).
yeah for fun childhood memories!
12My easy bake oven, My Rainbow brite doll and my pretty pretty princess board game
13I used to loooove coloring and coloring books. Not drawing--just coloring. And my mom would get me 96 crayon crayola boxes and I just thought I was the luckiest kid in the world!
I also loved playing jacks because my mom would play with me and show me all these neat tricks she could do.

i had a bright orange pogo stick and i loved it!!
15I also had a giant holly hobby doll that I carried everywhere.....
I absolutely loved my skip it!! It was yellow and I would play and play with it all day!
16My bike
17Uno
Monopoly
Ping Pong
I loved my bike but when my little brother started getting older he got a Powerwheels and I was to big to ride in it. I just remember following him on my bike and being sooo jealous! Other than that though we had a big field behind our house and all the neigborhood kids would go and build tree houses and girls/boys only clubs and just play around as long as we could get away with.
18We lived out in a rural area with a lot of land and trees around us, so my sister would make up elaborate adventure games for us to play outdoor. A modified version of hide & go seek that we played outside at night is probably my favourite.
19the game of LIFE!!!!!! i loooooooooooved it!
20My barbies or my baby dolls! I was definately a girly girl
