I love it when cats do that. its so cute. I've heard that cats do that to "feel" what the person is like.

2I've seen the smallest of kittens start doing that when they're nursing, but then, they just keep doing it! What's up with that?
3Kittens do that to stimulate mother's lactation. The ones that were weaned too soon, or raised with the bottle will do that long into their adult years. Girls do it too, but boys are the ones who are doing it mainly when they are adults. Mommy's boys?
