As your relationship develops and you grow closer together, eventually you begin to learn the more intimate details of your partner like his particular neuroses and even his bathroom habits. Being privy to so much private information about the other, it would be simple to break one of the good standby relationship rules — making the other person look good — by revealing one of those intimate details to others. Fortunately, most of us have enough commonsense to avoid such an indiscretion.
But sometimes, whether we're feeling particularly spiteful or simply suffering a slip of the tongue, certain bits of information, opinions, or behaviors, which you'd bother rather keep private, can make their way into a social setting and serious embarrassment can ensue. Hopefully this doesn't happen often, but ladies, have you and your man ever embarrassed each other? If so, was it intentional or totally accidental?

Once, completely by accident - I was slightly tipsy at the time. ^_^;;;
1My boy is never embarrassed. I could pants him in front of 10000 people, and he would just make a joke about it and laugh it off.
On the other hand, I'm easily embarrassed, so some of the teasing my boy does in front of his family or friends has caused me blush or feel violated.
2to blush**
3I did once...I said something I probably should have in front of his mama.
4Yep. I love him, but if I need him to keep his mouth shut, I actually need to attach that warning BEFORE I say anything. And I'm still learning to intuit which things need that warning attached...for example: I've always had a funny thing about twins. They kind of weird me out. And I've always wondered how mothers of twins stay sane. Recent family reunion - I'm the new bride meeting many of these people for the first time - he approaches his aunt, who has twin daughters about my age, nods in my direction, and laughingly says "She can't STAND twins, they freak her out. She would HATE to be you."
I almost died.
5yep, i have. the basic thing is that i run my mouth way too much. sorry hunnie
6Not really. Yesterday we were with some of his more "male" friends (lol, aren't boobs funny) and we were playfighting a bit. They were like "go on, get him!" and he was going "she just abuses me all the time like this, don't encourage her!" and I went "well if you'd just remember the safety word I'd stop!!"
He went a bit red but it made him look good in front of his friends. ;p
