Perhaps stemming from the social beliefs of past decades, I always notice how modest and self-deprecating certain women tend to be. While modesty is a good quality, I think it’s OK to toot your own horn every now and again. In fact, we’re so well-trained not to boast that sometimes I think we inadvertently downplay things that are brag-worthy like a big promotion, making Honors, or running a half-marathon. Let’s live by the “if you got it, flaunt it” motto just for today, and do tell: What are you really good at?

Achile
Emilio Pucci
Basile
In two words: Being me.
1Running and endurance sports!
2I give spanking good advice.
3I'm good at writing. I love coming up with great short stories...
4I'm good at choosing the right make up for my skin tone and making great decisions for myself and other people. I'm a well balanced person.
Math.. I finished all of the math courses my high school had to offer halfway through freshman year... I took college math as a 14 year old.
5people always tell me I'm so particular.
so there, that must be.
I've heard that line so many times ever since I was a child... seriously, people... grow original! haha
but apart from that... I think I'm really good at twisting words and their meaning.
hell, that may be good for something one day!
6I'm good at writing, dancing and singing. I'm not bad in the kitchen, either.
7I have really good ideas and concepts - I'm not that great at executing them but coming up with the ideas I'm good at.
I have a really good eye for color and design, particularly with art and interior decorating.
8I'm good at ballroom dancing - it seems to come natural to me.
I'm good at encouraging others.
I"m good at jamming to music, sleeping the longest, damn near messing up my chances of getting into a real college, and tolerating my disaster room.
9I'm good at two things: tennis, and being crazyyy
!
10Ahh....Marci I forgot cooking.
11I'm good at that as well, matter of fact, I'm making quesadillas for the family tonight!
Love to cook and bake for friends and family and good enough at it that they like it
Very creative with scrapbooking and other artsy stuff.
12I'm smart and am good in school. I graduated as Valedictorian from high school (I've only had 1 'B' and that was in 4th grade math).
13All through college I've achieved a 4.0 GPA too.
playing the piano (i have a pretty good ear) and writing
14I'm a good student, especially in science classes. I had a 4.0 in high school, and I'm near the top of my class at a highly selective liberal arts college.
15I'm a gifted writer and am always the one to offer my friends advice. I also have a great sense of humor and can work a room pretty easily
16I'm really good at doing makeup. I also give great advice and I'm a good person to lean on when you need help. Too bad no one actually follows my advice even after saying it's great advice.
17Um...I'm good at tennis...although I haven't played in years. But I used to play #2 and #1 singles for my school team. I'm a teacher, so I've always been good with academics...always did well in school and graduated college magna cum laude.
And it sounds kind of lame, but I'm really friendly and kind and I've always been good at making friends and helping others out.
18music--flute and piccolo,
19I give decent advice, though usually no one takes it. My friends say that my blog is awesome, and that I could be a journalist - makes me so proud that people enjoy it. I'm good with makeup, too - I was the makeup artist for my school's play and people really liked the work I did. Oh, and I'm GREAT at writing analysis papers for English Honours. Its fun because of all the different ways you can interpret something to write about; while my classmates all write about the same thing, I think of something off the wall that others couldn't even comprehend.
WOW, I sound like a pompous ass...oh well
20I can tap dance... and some people have told me I'm a good writer.
21JamieLeah I wish you could do my make up for me - I suck at it!
emalove - NOT lame at all, that is a fine quality to have, not everyone is as lucky. I'm kind to people but I'm not good at making friends necessarily - I have too much of a wall up I suppose.

23I'm a great painter! I'm also awesome at ceramics! I also knit different things all the time. I'm musical - I can play the flute, piano, bassoon, and some freedom horn. I have a great voice for singing. People always tell me I'm a great cook and I don't argue! I also think I'm a skilled at Wii.
What are you good at, Dear?
24I'm good at dancing, singing and being intellectual in school and being street smart. I COULD go on and on, but I would just be bragging!
25I'm creative (my mind is always going a mile minute) so I'm good at coming up with ideas, fashion combinations and photography.
I consider myself a good writer (always trying to improve.)
Finding visual patterns (ex: putting huge puzzles together.)
And I am VERY good at being a kind and loyal person.
For a fun one I can remember weird bits of information; usually useless yet amusing (or gross, lol.)
26I cope - throw a problem at me and I automatically start to handle it. Once a crisis is resolved I can fold for a while, but never during.
27Singing, dancing, cooking, designing, piano-playing, martial arts, languages among others.
28Baking, cooking, knitting, sewing and... blowjobs.
29surfing. I'm doing it for 4 years..

31This may validate the question but I've never actually thought of what I'm "good at."
Ummm I suppose I am good at caring/helping others out, working too hard & being a perfectionist (in some regards).
32Im a great girlfriend, daughter, shopper (
)mommy to my puppy....oh, and a darn good
cook too!
33Teaching... its always felt very natural for me to be in front of a group of children. I love to find as many ways as possible to help a child learn something new, and to make learning fun.
And cheerleading. Its one of the only sports I ever felt successful at. I never could coordinate hitting/kicking/throwing a ball, but using my whole body came much more naturally. I now spend my summers teaching at cheer camps for the largest cheer company in the world (UCA).
34Dance, fo sho! I can go from classical Indian dance to breaking it down on the dance floor.
35Making people feel special. I'm a good listener, I'm good at dreaming, picking out gifts for people, helping others (friends, fam) out, analyzing the psyche to understand oneself, listening to my body and mind in tandem, figuring out what I love in life, studying independently, languages, having a good time (and I don't mean partying it up), and finally, I'm good at drinking gallons of tea a day!
36cooking ..haha!
37this is a nice activity! i'm good at giving advice to friends, connecting missing links of logic together for some people. i'm good at running around the world by myself and starting from scratch. i'm good at making friends and learning languages. i'm an expert at partying, although i've graduated from that :0

41I'm smart and very good in school, I taught myself to read when I was 4. I also pick up foreign languages very quickly.
42I'm a great organizer - I'm constantly helping people re-arrange their pantries and laundry rooms. I'm also amazing at finding typographical errors in books; sometimes I think I should have been a proofreader!
