McClellan's comments have a high 'duh' factor, but I liked this:
"McClellan suggested some book titles for Cheney should he choose to write a memoir of his own after leaving office: “The Lies I Told,” or “I Upped Halliburton’s Income - So Up Yours."
1I watched a video about all the security around that Hitler wax statue whose head got ripped off, complete with a museum rep explaining how all the precautions were there to prevent people from touching the statue.
Didn't work too well, apparently.
2For some reason, I just never trusted Cheney - he just never seems sincere.
3I've never liked Cheney either he always seemed like such a weasel to me. I never understood why he was chosen as VP but then again I'm not up on all that stuff either.
Jude lol no apparently it didn't.
4I hate to nitpick, but was it really necessary to use this particular photograph of Vice President Cheney? You just needed a stock photo, but you chose one where he appears to be snarling. Your bias is showing, you might try a little harder to keep it in check.
5How is it that Lady Macbeth, I mean Karl Rove, is allowed to ignore a Congressional subpoena?
6Cheney must be very hardened against personal criticism, and immune to ethical thinking. He is driven by his stock portfolio and those of his buddies.
7But in the end, his actions will drive him mad.
Most of Cheney's smiles just look smug, so Liberty would still be criticized for her choice.
8Rove gets away with it because Congress doesn't bother to press the issue.
You're right Steph, I would definitely call her out for choosing a picture where he was smiling...
9Other people comment on content they find objectionable as well.
10She could have chosen a more flattering picture...but the Evil Cheney pictures are so fun!! You couldn't photoshop a creepier man than Cheney!
11I had a basketball coach that could give his snarl a run for the money. Was the creepiest man I ever saw.
12Name me one elected official who hasn't helped his friends' business.
13Show me a flattering picture of Cheney.
14Not his friends' businesses: McClellan referred to Cheney's decisions being made with an eye to his own stock portfolio. Everybody does it is never justification, especially when we're talking about war.
15I still can't believe he shot someone in the face.
16Ah, liberals just don't understand a good shot in the face between friends!
17Colbert started a campaign against face violence, yes?
18Did he ever admit what happened to him?
"Ah, liberals just don't understand a good shot in the face between friends!"
Hee!
I think this is a decent picture of Cheney. It hides his
19No, MSucre, but I'm dying to know. I was hoping it would lead to some "FaceStrong" headbands or something. I love him a *bit* too much.
20The shooting someone was an accident, let's drop it. 100's people get shot in WI yearly because their "friends" say wait here, then circle around and shoot at the spot where they told their friends to wait.
Mclellan is trying to sell a book bashing the current administration. I don't trust any of his motives.
The democrats can't beat a Karl Rove type of individual, so let's just prevent him from ever getting any power. Interesting
21Seriously, he shot someone in the face.
22That was one of the best days of my life
23What's your point Raci? It was an accident. I'm sure you don't make any mistakes, but could you find it in your heart to forgive others who do?
24Dave, Dave, Dave - you're usually first in line to execute people or at least run them out of the country! Don't go all Mr. Rogers on us now.
25LOL. I'm not going all Mr. Rogers. If it was done on purpose, fry the guy. This was an accident, and no one was seriousily hurt.
26If someone shot me in the face, accident or not, I'd want him prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I'd want his gun license taken away and I'd want him to pay for my reconstructive plastic surgery. Seriously, you only get one face!
Did his friend have the fave of a deer? Maybe deerface should have just ducked.
27They were pheasant hunting, and they used buckshot. It's not like the guy got hit with a 30-06 bullet, or worse.
28I promise you the man was less pretty after he took the buckshot in the face. It's not an exfoliate.
29I agree. I also think it was a horrible thing, but it was an accident.
