Juggling friends, family, work, a relationship, and time for yourself is not an easy endeavour to master. If you're one that suffers from the Do-it-all disease, finding time for everyone can be exhausting, which is why balance is key. But when your heart wants to do one thing and your head another, you can easily feel overwhelmed and resentful of those things you feel like you have to do (visiting grandma, sitting down for that phone date you've been putting off, etc.) One can only do her best so where do you stand on managing your time? Do you feel like it's important to be strict about it, or do you believe that time is precious and we should spend it doing more of what we want and less of what we should.

I believe time management is a key factor in having a stress-free life! I work in real estate, and I am AMAZED at how poorly some of the agents handle their time! I don't understand people that forget doctor's appointments, wait until the last minute to mail something, etc. I pride myself on my time management skills!
1I do more of the things I want than the things I should. I'd much rather be on sugars all day than clean my house or take care of the bills.
2i have to manage my time
3It's easy for me to fall into feeling as though I have to do things that I really have a choice not to do (visiting family is a big one). Once I realized that the pressure to do all these things isn't coming from my own rationale, but from others, I realized I really didn't care if my mother-in-law was mad that I didn't go to Michigan to visit her sister--I had something else that I wanted to do more. Life's too short.
4I am a time management nazi! For me, I've gotta have a plan/schedule otherwise I will freak and get super-stressed out. And now that I'm married it's 10 times worse! ACK! It's AWFUL. I'm trying to get over this insanity....before I drive my new hubby insane. I wish I could go and do the things I want (or relax a little) rather than doing the list of chores/errands I have running thru my brain.
5I'm a procrastinator. If it can wait... 9 times out of 10 I can make it wait even longer o.0 That's bad I know, but the harder I try to manage my time and make sure everything's done... the more stressed and rushed I feel and I don't like it.
6I used to be so good at managing my time and being motivated and getting things done... that was before 4 children lol... my life is cluttered right now and I get overwhelmed very easily and when I get overwhelmed then I can't do anything - I shut down. I would so love for a professional organizer to come in and help but that would cost alot of money I'm not willing to spend - well not on that I'd rather spend it on something else lol
7I probably do way more of what I want to do than what I should be doing. Other people criticize me for it, but I'd rather look back and realize I had some fun than do what other people I know do, and never have time for themselves!!
8I believe in both a balance of want and should.
Because sometimes we dont really want to do things that are really good for us in the end; like visiting family members even when we want to visit friends because, even though we dont know it, we'll miss her when they're gone.
The way I balance time best is that I do something with every waking minute of my day and I never watch TV.
I get 8 hours of sleep a night (at least) but I dont really have any 'down time' other than that.
With a full time career, grad school, a fiance, 2 dogs, 2 homes, the gym, family and friends I really have a full plate but I dont intend to always be this busy for the rest of my life!
9I always make sure I have some "me" time.
