And though yes, Teddy wasn't elected in the first go-round as he did get the job from the
Veep slot, Jackson lost in his first time at bat too (in 1824--and I know, it was complicated...) Also interestingly--in the first elections that both Jackson (1828) and Roosevelt (1904) won
the office from, they both got 56 percent of the popular vote. So maybe they're not so different? Plus, it's a fun game. Really.










By what criteria are you using? I mean, I lost because I thought Andrew Jackson was a better president than Theodore Roosevelt, yet Jackson did more to shape this nation and even has an entire era named after him? Not to mention he was actually elected president. I think this would be a more fun game if there was some guideline.
