A new trend is to stuff Baby's First Photo Album with pics of Mom and Pop embracing each other while posing near topless in blue jeans. Nothing out-of-bounds is exposed, and the point is to show off Mom's beautiful baby bump, but is Dad's chest hair (or lack thereof, in the pic below) really necessary? Is this style of photography sweet and honest, or plain ol' inappropriate? You tell me.

Thanks, College Humor!

This is not a good trend. Please stop.
1A tasteful beautiful photo of a mom and her bump is fine but leave the dad's out....please......
2And leave the jean out too...tacky!
3ewwwi cant believe she had sex with that guy!!!!!!ewwwwwwwwwwwwww
4didnt and dont plan on every doing a picture like this. even if i wanted to my husband would laugh and say heck no
5I wouldn't say they are inappropriate, but I would never take these kinds of pictures. Nor would my boyfriend ever agree to do it either. I have seen some that look decent, but it's just not for us.
6The only thing as cheesetastic as daddy's goatee and frat tat tag team is mommy's fake tan. Who let these people procreate?
7why is this happening everywhere? is there somebody going around in a truck saying.."take off your top daddy and get in there too!"
and whats up wit the guys tattoo.. i mean...if there was ever a perfect candidate for tattoo removing...he would be it! what does that say?
8Recently a couple I know did pictures like these and posted them on Myspace. It was really disturbing. They ended up looking like high school senior photos of a pregnant girl.
9for being a casual picture, they could of done without the jeans, by using something else...a sheet or something...jeans just don't cut it, when taking a picture like this. granted whats beautiful to them, may not be to us.....but...come on....jeez...
10I hate, hate, hate these kinds of pictures.
Its not even who they are of, at least not for me, its the content.
Even if it was Brad and Angelina, they feel..icky, too personal. Its funny, if its just a female holding a baby half-nude, its okay. If its just a father holding his child, I think that can be quite touching also.
But both of them, while she is still pregnant, just says "look what we made while we were (blank-ing on the family blank during the last holiday blankage)."
Ew, always ew, forever ew.
11Nice farmer tan, Daddy!
12A tasteful shot of mom's belly is OK, no jeans please! Dad without a shirt is just creepy. A couple I know did a photo but Dad was clothed and Mom had on a blouse that was unbuttoned from the top of the belly down. Much better!
13ewww...it's tacky!
14no way!
15
not to mention his tattoos, tanlines, etc.
16I think the lady is maybe okay but why did the guy decide to take his shirt off too?
17Why jeans? Why?!?!
I have seen some tasteful naked pictures of naked women or women with fabric wrapped around them. Those type are nice and beautiful. I even saw one in which the dad was in it too (naked) and holding his wife from behind (they were sitting down) and that photo was beautiful too.
But this...redneck stuff....pretty much nasty.
18sorry but what is wrong with her face...
19if it was a beautiful, tasteful photo then maybe a yes but not garbage like this!
20Maybe it's a trend among pregnant teens and college students?
I've seen really great pregnancy sessions that don't include couples making cheesy poses like this.
21no and no.
22OMG I HATE THIS PICTURES WITH THE FIRE OF A THOUSAND SUNS!!! I'm sorry, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I refuse to ever do these. People like Demi Moore, Christina Aguilera, and even Britney can get away with it--cause the pictures are AIR-BRUSHED, people! Ugh... my rage blackouts exhaust me.
