Your friend begs you to come on a double date as her wingman with a guy she’s crushing on. You hesitantly agree, seeing as how you know nothing about the friend her date is bringing. When they meet you guys at the restaurant, you’re pleasantly surprised — the friend is a total looker — but then he speaks. Would it be worse if the guys is . . .

This: A total bore — his voice just drones on relentlessly? He’s nice as can be, but you’ve never been so bored talking to someone.
Or . . .
That: Completely arrogant and overly opinionated? You spend the entire night arguing with him about politics and relationships.

I can't stand arrogance, in any way, shape, or form. If the guy is nice, I'll be polite and listen. Dinner will end at some point right? But an arrogant jerk will always make my blood boil and I'd rather be naked, covered in honey, and sat down on a fire ant hill than spend one moment with one!
Not a fan of arrogance but i don't mind arguing over politics but no on the first night!
Definitely boring!! I CANNOT tolerate arrogance for any length of time. My #1 turnoff.
I do not like arrogance at all, but if they were so boring I couldn't hold my eyes open why on earth would I stay. At the very least if I can get into a real discussion with the arrogant one, I may hate them but at least it's better than blowing bubbles in my soup.
I'm in the minority -- I prefer arrogance. I find arrogant people laughable and entertaining. Of course, I wouldn't take anything he says seriously. I will take it for entertainment value. So I choose a cocky bastard.
Cockiness isn't necessarily a bad thing, and it's certainly amusing. I hate feeling like I have to provide all the entertainment in a social situation.
I prefer the boring guy. Arrogance and arguing about politics is on a date is fine by me. Arguing about relationships with me...that's a big no. I'd rather take boring. He won't give me high blood pressure.
That. I agree with sporky.. I can't stand arrogance ..
I would prefer the arrogant one. I have dealt with quite a few in my time and sometimes it's fun to bring them down a level or two. Boring just doesn't work well for me.
i hate arrogance so i'd rather be bored, but listen. you wouldn't want to get angry when you're out. after the bored dude, go have fun!
I'd rather be bored.
lol, yup id be bored 2
I'd rather be entertained by someone's arrogance. If I know I'm not intersted in this guy then why not atleast leave with a few stories to have? I hate boring people and an ex boyfriend of my best friend who also became a friend of mine was one of the most boringest people and I could never talk to him longer than a second. It felt like every conversation we ever had was just small talk. I hate that. So, Arrogance over Boringness, any day.
I wouldn't want to ruin my friend's date by punching out my date so I choose boring over arrogance.
Arrogance would be worse to me, boring I can deal with.
I don't mind debating about politics at all. Sure, he's an arrogant jackass. But as long as I get free food, its all good, ya'll.
Free food, discussion, AND a looker? Arrogance for sure. No one said you had to marry the guy :]
Arrogant and opinionated people get on my last nerve......
I am also in the minority- Id rather get the arrogant guy than the boring one. Arguing over politics is fun for me.
Either way I wouldn't be interested in the person. So I would rather debate with him than sit there bored all night!
I'll take boring over arrogant anyday.
nothing is worse than boring!
well, it'd be more interesting to argue with the guy than sit there bored to tears. It's not like I have to go home with him.
I....like arguing. lol I'd rather have someone to argue with than someone who's boring.
I can handle an arrogant guy (at least, tolerate him for a few hours) but with a boring one, I'd just spend most of the night fighting my yawns. =\
If this is only for one night I'd much rather be entertained than bored no matter what. He might be cocky but I think I'd have a better time and I'd just laugh at him and argue right back. It could be a fun night since I love to argue hehe.
i chose arrogance, because at least my inner monologue would be entertaining..
id rather be caught up in an argument than fall asleep right on my plate of food
