i know for a fact that my parents don't have sex. my mom is way to menopausal and mood (and works long hours) and given that my dad has had 5 heart attacks, i'm pretty sure exerting that much energy would be a health risk for him.

No thank God I never walked in on them (they were smart and entering their bedroom was prohibited unless they ok'd it)....but when I was around 9 and my sister was 15 we were cleaning their bedroom and we found a pair of my mom's panties in my dad's nightstand drawer, and they had holes cut out, like with scissors....my sister gasped and started laughing, I of course didn't get it until years later....can you say YUUUCKKKK!!!!!!!!!

I regularily had to hear my mom and stepdad and as a small child it scared me, but after getting yelled at a couple times I stopped trying to "rescue" my mom(lol)once I was 11 and had half a clue what they were doing I had to cover my head with my pillow and press it down into my ears with my hands, I literally would rock back and forth and honestly, I hated them for it because i told them sooo many times that it was really bothering me and it was practically every night. They would just yell at me to mind my own business. SO RUDE! I seriously had issues because of them.

I'm sorry, but it takes me almost a full minute to scroll down after each comment because I can't stop laughing. Some of the stories are just too funny I'm so sorry for your trauma, but you have to understand how funny it sounds.

No, I have never seen anything, thank God. But I do remember walking into my parents' bedroom in deep darkness one night, because I needed an aspirin and the medicine cabinet was in their closet. My dad said; 'what are you doing here this time of the night?'. I didn't get why he sounded upset, I just wanted some medicine.
Next morning he told me to knock on the door before entering their room. I felt kinda hurt, especially since it was about something I really needed.
It wasn't until years later that it dawned on me what that must've been about, but I STILL hope I was wrong. This was trauma enough for me, thank God I never saw or heard anything.

OHH gosh I didn't actually SEE my parents BUT i heard them like FOUR times. I know it doesn't hold a candle light to some people but it would just piss me off! :@ I told them and i would give them hints that i heard them. I made it seem like i was angry and stuff... Then they were QUIET after.

I heard my parents one time when we were camping. Then when I was like 17 I had 2 friends over and we heard my Mom and her one night stand upstairs. Her bed is on wheels and it was rolling all over the floor and hitting the wall. LOL. That was weird.

Oh, I have. It was horrible, and I was honestly kinda scarred from it. I don't think I completely understood what I saw, twice I walked in on them, until I was older but I still have freaked out uncomfortable feelings about it. I was raised in a house hold where my parents had sex but otherwise sex was bad and dirty and not good until you are married..so needless to say I have problems with sex any way. Now my mom is single and she's telling me way too much about her sex life and it's giving me more problems. I had to hear my parents, way too many times, including one time when a friend was over, and I've always hated them a little for that. Sorry, it's a touchy subject for me. My mom has some religious sex guilt and she's dumped it on me and so I'm sorta screwed up. Bleh!

I did. I was around 6 or 7 years old. I recognized what they were doing as a reproductive act (summers spent on a farm), but nobody had told me that humans do it for other reasons. I started crying because I didn't want another little sister or brother. My poor parents had to spend some time comforting me and saying it was just for fun, and they weren't actually about to pop out another baby.

I walked in on my mum and her boyfriend when i was around 10 or 11. I was laying in her bed with my little sister and watching a movie (backdraft)when i went through the lounge room to go to the bathroom.
They were in the lounge room going at it and i ran back to her bed and hid under the covers. She must have noticed me because she came in not long after and asked if i was ok but i wouldnt come out from under the blanket. I still can't watch that movie without feeling icky!

I've never seen them, which is a huge relief. However, my parents make no effort to hide the fact that they still have sex... they buy KY when I'm at the grocery with them and make all sorts of little joking comments about their sex life. When I was in my teens it used to bother me, but now I love the fact that they still turn one another on after 35+ years - gives me hope for my future!

Yep, I have walked in on my parents. Luckily, it wasn't anything freaky AT ALL and even though I was really little (about 4, since I was still an only child) I just kinda understood and turned around and ran off to play. They've always been very conservative and NEVER talk about sex so it's always just been quietly understood.

YEAH, but NOW I've married into a family that is WAY open about sex. Like, creepy, gross-me-out, please tell me your dad didn't really say that, and did you REALLY have to tell me what you did before dinner OPEN. Icky.
