In the new book Carla and Nicolas, the True Story readers get an inside look at the seven-month relationship between French President Nicolas Sarkozy and his Italian singer first-lady wife Carla Bruni.
Carlita and Sarko met at dinner party, which they attended as each other's blind date. Carla's former lover Luc Ferry was there, too. Carla apparently got tipsy, asked the French president for a lift home, and the rest is history! If you wish you had been a fly on the wall, you may be in luck. Apparently Ferry video taped the Sarkozy-Bruni meeting with his phone.
Carla explains that she was "seduced by his physique and his intelligence" and by his "five or six brains which are remarkably irrigated." This has all helped Carla ignore fears that her left-leaning art community companions would reject her for loving the conservative French president.
Meanwhile London's Madame Tussauds unveiled her wax figures of the French playboy president. Check out some of the figure, which is much less controversial than the Hitler planned for Berlin. Is Sarko hot enough to make you want to change your political inclinations? Would Americans be outraged by all this sex and seduction surrounding a politician? 5Our president deserves to be mocked! He married this woman 4 months after getting a divorce from his previous wife, Cecilia. That one he had stolen from a friend (a famous French entertainer) 20 years ago, while his own first wife was battling breast cancer.

I should brush up on my facts before I shoot my mouth accidentally. & honestly, I'm pretty sure presidents/leaders of nations get hit on more often than the hottest men in their country. The girl used a line on the president, as did Monica Lewinsky. It's been done before...The man usually comes to his senses before marrying his hoe.
7Also, I've seen hotter French men hanging around in the States...I'm sure she could have found someone better. Who passes up the chance to be First Lady?? No one, not certainly this woman.

10Carla is just as bad as Sarko... she met her last partner, Raphaël Enthoven, while dating his father -- she first broke up the father's marriage, then left him for Raphaël, who was also married at the time. She also made a lot of statements about how she was completely against marriage.

12oh, and in america we have a similar love triangle. but ours involves luke perry, not luc ferry. after him and brenda split he started dating kelly... which was totally uncalled for if you ask me. i mean, kelly and brenda were, like, BFFs! and then, just when we thought kelly would redeem herself because she had a twinge of guilt because of her relationship with dylan... she started dating brandon - brenda's own brother! just ridiculous.

Carla apparently got really drunk off her azz, and than asked her date to bring her to his place so they could do "zee nasty"! her scorned lover taped her stumbling drunk into the car and it will be on the internet as soon as he gets paid.

17Eew. I think this whole fiasco must be embarrassing for the French. How can a guy with so little moral value make a credible president? This also reminds me of the Russian ex-president who has divorced his first wife and is now going to marry a beautiful 23 year old gymnast star. Isn't that just sick? And to answer Citizen's question; eeuw no, Sarkozy is unattractive as hell. He looks evil.
