It seems that Japanese television has been pretty awesome for a long, long time. Take the "tokusatsu" or special effects television show Ultraman (1966 -1967), which was created by one of the dudes who was the creator of Godzilla in 1954. Although it looks like Godzilla here, I hear from an aficionado that Ultraman and Godzilla would never fight each other. Me?
