haha, this reminds me and my friends and I in high school. Apparently, I would always go in the bathroom and change while they would change in the same room whenever we had sleepovers. Eventually, they noticed and would try to break in on me while I was changing.

I like privacy, I wouldnt even change my shirt in the same room as anyone else.

When I was in nursing college, one of my fellow students would always change in front of all of us - she would invite several of us round for a drink, then make a big deal of stripping, and walking around her room butt naked. It made me feel very uncomfortable - I'm not a prude but her behaviour was exhibitionist in the extreme. I prefer to keep my modesty, and I hate communal changing rooms in shops!

I really prefer not to change in front of anyone, even my sisters. Nudity is out of the question. My friends don't want to see that, or vice versa!

It's just not a big deal for my friends and I... It never has been, at all. It's like siblings, I don't hesitate to change in front of my sisters, why would I hesitate to change in front of my best friends?
I'm going to have to disagree with Dear's comment of "Naturally, the older we get the more self-conscious we become." Most people I know have become more comfortable with themselves as they grow up, not less!

My friends and I have never found it a big deal to be undressed in front of one another. These girls are my closet friends....and I do not feel uncomfortable. Plus I know they are not picking apart my body or anything.

I've never found it to be a big deal to undress in front of anyone. In fact, we frequently go to a female-only korean spa here in seattle and it is all nude. I never feel like anyone is picking apart my body or judging me - and if they are, whatever! (I guess I am not the self-concious type?)

It's weird. I don't mind being naked in front of strangers (like at the gym) but I totally don't want friends to see me naked.

I don't care if friends get naked in front of me but I won't subject them to my hideous body.

Personally, I don't like to be naked around people - I mean I don't really wear revealing cloth. But i don't mind if other people, who have amazing body, walking around naked... just don't serve me food.

I'm not modest in even the slightest sense, but I do usually try to keep bottoms on! So being topless changing doesn't bother me at all but keep on the lil undies for me:) I work at a partybar (think coyote ugly meets pussycat dolls in New Orleans!) so we work in very little and have a VERY tiny dressing room, so there's lots of stripping going on, but even with all of us, we're all modest about the Vajayjay and believe she should be kept covered under the thongs lol. Boobs are anyone's game, ha!

I've known most of my friends since we were little kids, we've seen each other naked a zillion times over the years. No big deal. In fact, we used to always go skinny-dipping at one of our other friend's private beach every summer...and strip poker was always a game at our high school parties. Haha.

I am fine being naked in front of my sister and mom and mostly naked (cool with it as long as I have undies on) in front of my close friends. It just doesn't really bother me. On the other hand, I wouldn't want to be naked in front of strangers (i.e. the gym). But, really, if I have on a bra and panties, I don't feel much more exposed than I would at the beach.

I'm okay with changing in front of my female friends. I may cover certain parts of my body out of modesty, but overall, I'm comfortable.

Also, I'm content with my body. The less clothes I have on, the better I look. I think I look best naked.

I didn't mind changing in the locker room in high school, because everyone did it and there was no other option. Now I wouldn't change even my shirt or pants in front of any of my friends.

I'm cool with getting off the shower and changing near them, cause they won't be staring anyway, they know better. I'd never actually shower in front of them though. I'm not THAT proud of my body! My BFF of 7 years, on the other hand, is getting a boob job and she asked me if I wanna feel them afterwards (she wasn't even joking LOL)

For the most part, it doesnt bother me. We all have the same parts (some may not look the same, LOL). And like someone said, its not like we are just staring at each other. But I dont do it in front of ALL of my friends, but most of my friends for the most part do not mind it. I dont stay naked for a long time, like walking around chillin or somethin, but just changing or that sort of thing is cool.

It really depends on the friend. I'm more comfortable with some than others for sure.

In college the entire women's soccer team would shower naked together. So I kinda got used to baring all even though I wasn't super comfortable at first.

I don't have too many opportunites anymore to get naked around my friends. The closest it comes to is being in the same dressing room with someone, and I keep my underthings on so it's not really naked.

I've also attended all-female spas where nudity is practically required. However, I dislike changing at the gym because it's soo cold! I have to go into a stall, so I'm farther away from the AC ducts!

As for changing in front of friends...I change in front of my mom, no problem. But...full nudity in front of friends is a little weird at our age. I used to do it as a kid and while I played water polo...Not now. Bra and panties is perfectly acceptable, though.

But I think my friends wouldn't be comfortable with that, so I don't subject them to it. I mean, once my friend saw me in a (totally closed and knee-length) bathrobe and freaked out like I was streaking on her. Granted, she freaked in a jokey manner, but still, I get the sense actual nakedness would not be okay.

i never change in front of my friends, ever. my best friend is the type who strips down completely in front of others and doesn't give a damn. the first time she did it in front of me i didn't know where to look, but now i can have an entire conversation with her without batting an eyelid - even though all her bits are showing. some of my other friends will happily change down to their undies, but no actual nudity. either way, i'm okay with that and they're okay with me changing privately.

I wouldn't just hang out naked with my friends, unless we're in a hot tub or something, but changing is no big deal. I'm not uncomfortable nude.

Im really not into it. The most I will do in front of my best friend is change my shirt WITH my bra on. I am not very modest in that dept & it's usually faster / more convenient to share a dressing room (since I'm always showing the outfits to the friends anyhow) or to change quickly in the same room, car, whatever - specially in vacations and such where everyone is running around trying to fit in as much possible in each minute. Topless and undies are ok, but my down there area is too much for me.

It depends on the friend. I was on a basketball team with my best friend for four years. Needless to say, we shared a locker room together. If we go shopping together, often times we'll share a changing room if there's enough space.. it's easier than waiting for one of us to be finished before we show each other our outfits Similarly, when going out, my friends and I would change in the same room so we could help each other choose our outfit. I'd be less inclined to let my friends see me completely naked.. only my underwear.. but they've seen me in a thong.

im in college and i always change in front of my friends. we would run down the halls without shirts on to borrow a top from someone else. some of my friends were modest and would wear bras while changing, or turn around, but most of my friends strip down naked. i guess its just common knowledge not to stare at someone, thats just awkward, but who cares! one of my friends walked into my room topless, while i was doing homework with a couple of guys friends, asking me if i could help her change her nipple rings. and i know thats definitely not normal in a group of friends, but it still shows how comfortable we are with eachother.. haha

I seen my best friend with no underwear on. We change in front of each other all the time. She asked me if I would care if she changed her underwear in front of me and I was like no. But it's not often we do that.

It sounds like if your in some situation where you are changing what's the big deal? I used to be on a swim team. All my girlfriends would change and shower with me. Later on in life, I wouldn't care. I have a nice body. Nothing to be showing off or hiding more or less. Sometimes girls do it if they have a great body. One time I was in Miami and a bunch of us were getting ready to go out. The tallest slimist one got naked in front of all of us. I guess she was proud of all that hair laser work. Whatever.
