Easy...I went to a party at a frat house once, and they "opened" up some full bottles of their hunch punch for me when I walked up, thought they were being all special and shit. Well turns out about 4 sips into the drink, me and my girl were about wasted and had no clue why. Luckily we were with our very good (guy) friends. The cops showed up, so we freaked, chugged the rest of the drink and were so tanked we couldn't see straight. We all went home and well had a ball b/c we, again, were with trusted friends and just had a drunken fun time playing fuse ball and dancing and shit, but realized later that our newly opened punch was laced with GHB that the frat house was known for doing.

SO if you are on like your first drink, and you have only a few sips and notice that you are starting to feel incredibly drunk...you've been drugged so get with a close, trusted friend fast! Same thing happened (sort of) with some Zanex that a friend thought he was being nice by giving me for my headache, and after popping 2 of them, and blacking out...I am very happy to say I love the guy friends that I have!!

One time I went out with my good friend to go dancing at a club. Well, I didn't have much money, so I could only afford to have one double rum and coke. We decided to dance so I put it down, there was a group of guys standing there. When I went back to get it, one of the guys had my drink in his hand. My friend threw it out.

Another time I went to a bar with a friend and her bf. We were sitting at a table and this guy snuck up behind her, replacing her drink with one that looked exactly the same. She was about to take a sip, and neither her nor her bf noticed that it was the wrong drink. I said um Courteney that is not your drink. She pushed it aside. We noticed that the guy's friend was lingering close to our table, staring. A few minutes later, we saw a powder form in the bottom of her drink. Pretty scary. We showed the owner of the bar but he didn't do a damn thing. They were both creeps!!! Be very careful ladies. NEVER put your drink down anywhere and make sure you are aware of who is around your drinks. Never accept a drink from a guy unless you are standing right at the bar as he orders it. Never take your eyes off your drink. With GHB, you only need one little sip of alcohol with it and you will be passed out for hours, unable to even move your body, like you are paralyzed. BE CAREFUL!

Whenever I'm at a bar, I make sure that my hand is constantly on my drink, and preferably OVER it if there are a bunch of strangers crowded around me, so no one sneaks anything in. And my mom gave me some great advice, if someone hands you a drink, only take it if it's from the bartender (but then again, some bartenders can be sketchy too).

Possibly one of the best advice my mum ever gave me - I don't let people I don't know buy me drinks unless I see it made right in front of me, I never NEVER leave my drink on a random table to pick it up later, and when I'm in a crowded club I usually cover it with my hand. It might sound paranoid, but I'd rather enjoy a night out without thinking twice of whether I should be drinking what's in my glass or not.
