It's unfathomable how this title could cross the desks of editors, designers, and publishers without someone mentioning its other interpretation to poor Eleanor. But no one did, and there she is, standing tall and proud on the cover, waving her hand in the air like she just don't care. You can find the book on Amazon, where you'll also find a featured picture (see below) of a quilt casually tossed onto a chair. Tossed from where and off of whom is the question . . .

Maybe the book is a secret book about stripping that husband's can buy. "ohhh honey I'm just getting to know a little more about your hobbies!"...
1haha
I don't sew/quilt so does stripping mean something else? Her poor grandchildren.... Hey Teacher! My Grandma wrote a book about stripping! lol
2I work at Joann's for 3 years and I have no idea what "Stripping" is.
3Perhaps this quilting community is very isolated and unfamiliar with the more common meaning of the word. Or maybe nobody cared.
4OMG - my Mom and I used to laugh so hard when we would see her on TV - she always said "And just throw it away!" and throw the strips of fabric over her shoulder, and we always thought she was drinking! LOL
