Though love and dating can leave the best of us overwhelmed and totally confused, some people stay hopefully and hopelessly romantic no matter what. An appreciation of old-fashioned chivalry is definitely a good thing, but let's face it, life is not a fairytale. So are you in need of a reality check in the game of love? Take this quiz to find out!

Hopeless romantic
1hopeless romantic..?? i dunno
2I don't think I'm a hopeless romantic. I mean, I can be romantic or something, but I've definitely accepted the fact that life isn't all roses.
3I think the quiz skews on the side of more romantic than you are, 'cause it says I'm "cautiously optimistic" when I really consider myself "so cynical".
4"Cautiously Optimistic" - that sounds right.
5Hopeless romantic but I think I'm cautious at the same time.
6Hopeless Romantic...
7Wow, I'm pretty surprised that no one (at the time I completed the quiz) was a complete cynic! I thought we'd get a couple of power feminists here or something.

Hopeless Romantic
You're a cheeseball in the game of love, but there's nothing wrong with staying hopeful and giddy about romance. Just remember that life is not made up of storybook endings — even Prince Charming may have a few imperfections!
9ninjastarlett,
I believe you can be a feminist and a romantic at the same time... I am.
I fully believe in equality, but doesn't mean that I don't want my boyfriend to do special things for me or that I think that we are 'perfect' together, or that there isn't anyone else out there who would make me as happy. We both know that we would possibly be happy with other people, but we make each other happiest. Our relationship makes me incredibly happy and we are equals. I love when he brings me flowers and when he does the dishes. He loves it when I bring him a video game for his Wii and when I drive and choose where we are going to eat. We each do nice romantic things for the other, but we are still separate individuals.
I don't see why feminism and romanticism have to be separate?
