Some people are cuddlers by nature, while others need their space, but then there are those who like a little bit of both. Like I've said before, I didn't used to be a cuddler, but I can now appreciate that connected feeling you get when you're in the arms of the person you love even when you're sound asleep. Now I know cuddling depends on the time, the place, and the person, but tell me, do you like to cuddle in bed or are you the type who sleeps on the opposite side of the bed, as far away from your significant other as possible?

Other: I like to cuddle as we're falling asleep, but then separate. I need space, and also, to get away from extra body heat - I can't stand to be hot when I sleep!
yea as we fall asleep we cuddle then separate when we're ready to doze off into dreamland
im not going to lie--i used to hate cuddling. my fiance loves it and he would actually sleep better if we fell asleep cuddling. two years later... i love it just as much as he does. i just have to make sure im 100% comfortable as he likes to put the death grip on me haha
Oh ya. My boyfriend loves to cuddle, sometimes he almost smothers me, literally. Ha. But it's all out of love.
we cuddle and talk for a bit, then go our seperate ways. he has his own blanket and i've got my own, plus i've got my big body pillow down the middle of the bed. and that's all in a king size bed. we sleep better not touching or breathing on each other.
Nope. I love my space too much after sex or during sleeping hours.
i like to cuddled before falling asleep but when it's bed time i need space.
I don't mind a bit of cuddling before separating and going to sleep because I like my space.
I said other, because while I love cuddling more than anything, most of the time we cuddle for 20 minutes or so and then end up sleeping in our own space. He can sleep while cuddling or being cuddled, but I can't.
I have no problem cuddling if watching a movie, etc. But once I want to go to sleep - no more cuddling. I move a lot/need my space... so can't do it.
we snuggle all the time. when we go to bed he'll spoon me all cozy like. throughout the night we'll separate, but once one of us actually wakes up...we'll snuggle up to the other. this is actually one reason i feel like we're in a forever relationship. i have NEVER felt comfortable (physically) enough in someone's arms to actually fall asleep.
I like cuddling sometimes, but sometimes I don't.
I love to cuddle on the couch and stuff but when it's time for bed, move over! I move around a lot and get much better sleep when it's cool.
I move around a lot, so once I'm ready to sleep I need as much space as possible. But during movies, before sleeping, watching TV, or just while we're talking, I'm a cuddler.
I go to bed before my boyfriend so every night when he joins me he cuddles with me. I wake up for a few minutes and then pass out again. On a night when we go to bed at the same time, we'll cuddle for a while and then get comfy on our own sides.
He also says that I do a full-body twitch thing (forgot what it's called) right after I fall asleep, so I usually kick him. He tries to be as far away from me when that happens!
I've always dated sweaty, smelly, furnaces of guys and so I hated cuddling in bed. This current guy though doesn't stink and produces hardly any heat when he sleeps. A winner!
LOVE to cuddle
I can't fall asleep if I'm touching anyone. Except my kids, when they were smaller. Now that they're bigger it seems like they're all knees and elbows, so when they crawl in bed with me, I end up sleeping on the couch.
my boyfriend and i cuddle when we first get into bed and when we wake up, but when it's time to sleep, we seperate. we both like to sprawl out
We're like hamsters. Sometimes we fall asleep cuddling in one position and wake up cuddling in a different position.
we cuddle for a little but when it's time to really sleep i roll over to my own side, my own space. aaaaahhh
We cuddle when we fall asleep, then naturally separate but in the morning since he always wakes up first, he'd cuddle again to wake me up.
We cuddle as we fall asleep, but when I wake up to pee or something, I might face the other direction as I fall back asleep. We're chronic nappers/sleepers, so we don't just go to bed for eight hours...We're sleeping for ten or so with a pee break in between!
my boyfriend and i fall asleep cuddling but sometimes separate at some point during the night...
We have to cuddle. It is the best thing though. We are both a little scraped up right now, so we can't cuddle :!: I have had the hardest time falling asleep.
Majority of the time I do wrap myself around my boyfriend ... when I know the next morning I'll have all the time in the world to wake up.
But I prefer to be curled in my own little corner of the bed if I really really really need a good night sleep for some early activity the next morning.
I don't like to cuddle, but my BF does. Sometimes I can tell it really bothers him so I try to for as long as I can, but I'm SUPER claustrophobic so I have a really hard time with cuddling.
Same here as Jillellen457. We cuddle at first and then separate. I was never really exposed to much cuddling with past bfs. My husband wouldn't mind cuddling all night if I didn't roll around so much. Haha.
My fiance is about a billion degrees when he sleeps, and I can't stand to be that hot. We definitely don't cuddle in the beginning of the night or during, but we somehow wake up forehead-to-forehead and holding hands : )
other: same as so many others: cuddle and first, then seperate. i like to keep one part touching, like my hand tucket under his leg or something, or our legs brushing into each other. i used to be physically unable to spoon for very long, because i hate hate hated sleeping on my side, but i'm much better now, and can do that. i like to kinda snuggle a bit in the middle of the night too, and i'm always looking out for opportunities to get in the nook!
My husband is a big cuddler where I am naturally a little less so. But it's grown on me and we cuddle a lot. Sometimes though I just can't stand it and need my space but we joke about it and laugh about that too
I loooooooove cuddling, but when it comes time to sleep we tend to seperate and I'm ok with that.
I've had a boyfriend call me "distant" for seperating as I tend to curl into a little ball when I want a comfy sleep.
Me and my boyfriend are hardcore cuddlers. We cuddle up as soon as we lay down and even when one of us moves during the night we still end up back together cuddled up. My boyfriend is by far the best cuddler I've ever been with, I think we bring out the cuddle bunny in each other.
No cuddling! Its drive my bf crazy that I dislike it so much because he loves it. Its just not my thing.
The husband and I spend a lot of quality time cuddling, on the couch, in bed..wherever but when we sleep, we don't usually cuddle. We'll cuddle up to the point of sleeping, but my husband is a night sweater and it's kinda gross..
So we snuggle and then part and sleep, even
though I stay on his side of the bed most of the time just to be close to him.
we cuddle to fall asleep...same starting position every nite...but then we separate and stay on our own sides....or if you believe him....i sleep in the middle and he sleeps on the edge....
There are nights we do, and nights we don't. I've woken up to us holding hands before, which is really cute. Sometimes you just want to sleep though, ya know?
we love to cuddle! One of the first thing he asked me was what are my vices, I said,I am very needy and I love to cuddle. At first he wasn't that in to cuddling but now he will ask me to come cuddle with him. We are both addicted
we cuddle during the day, at night, and as we are falling asleep, but we separate when we fall asleep, I need my space to sleep.
I said Other, because both my boyfriend and I love to cuddle, but usually during the night we end up moving apart or at least shifting positions sometimes. Especially if it's hot outside.
But we still both love cuddling
i have this bizarre thing, almost like "circling the wagons," where i have to fall asleep with my back to The Husband - like a protection thing. no matter what side of the bed i'm on, i can't fall asleep facing him. i'm not a back or stomach sleeper, so it's always on the side and the back facing him. he gets it and is used to it after 12 years. i do the same thing with my children when they're napping with me.
I don't mind cuddling.. sometimes it can get uncomfortable. One night I was requesting cuddling and after 5 mins he was like, " baby I can't do this.." I think b/c his arm was falling asleep.. it was an awkward position. haha... But we usually cuddle post sex, then drift apart. We sometimes sleep back to back! haha.. But then during random times in the night we would roll over and kiss each other on the shoulder or neck. We're more of the spooners from the waist down.... sorta like a "K" formation..I sleep in the fetal position with him behind me. haha
I cuddle for a bit when I first crawl into bed but soon I am on my side and he on his.
If he hasn't fallen asleep before I reached bed, it is impossible that we will not cuddle. He spoons me or I tug at him to remind him that he is missing something. I don't know when I move away at night but definitely he will not wake up without us snuggling in the morning cold.
Troy and Gabriella snuggle/cuddle all night in my story because Gabriella feels safe and they both feel comfortable. In the winter, they keep each other warm. Gabriella likes to be held because she's very clingy and she loves her Wildcat so much! I think them cuddling is the cutest thing.
