I can't decide if this scenario would be a Zen utopian best day ever or a disaster of mind-stultifying proportions. Maybe the former for about five quiet minutes before the latter came crashing in.

While sometimes it feels like a slow news day, this crazy video is the news — without the pesky news part. I love how even when the BBC people aren't talking they're somehow still so British. They're all "back to you," "Oh, so sorry old chap, no back to you." It's so uncomfortable that I kept giggling. Is this your idea of heaven?

Finally got to see this at home - I thought it was pretty funny. The Brits would sit and stare, American anchors would yak and yak and yak about there being no news and how meaningful the fact that there was no news was and about their personal experience. Olbermann and Matthews would still yell.
1No news is good news
2I know this is meant to be funny but the message that they're sending really isn't a good one "if nothing bad happened in the world we would have nothing to say..." to me thats saying we are depending on the world to suffer for our own livelihood...lets not consider the fact that if there was no crimes committed or pain and suffering there'd actually be kind acts of people to others and love and good happenings to report. I find it sad the creator of this "joke" could not see outside the immediate box we live in.
