An afternoon break — the pictures sort of speak for themselves. I just can't help but adore these happy pictures of troops coming home yesterday to Camp Lejeune, NC.

YAY! Thank you Citizen! God Bless the men and women who spend their lives keeping us safe and helping others.
1Hurray! These photos just made my day - what a happy day for these families and those soldiers! Let's hope they are home to stay!
2These are great pictures! I feel the love.
3I'm so glad you posted these pictures! I remember the feeling of excitement of a homecoming, its truly an amazing feeling and a day that no one forgets!
I think its especially bittersweet for people who are coming home around now because chances are they were deployed over the holidays.
4These pictures really remind us to be thankful for so much, but especially for our soldiers. Thanks for posting them!
5Oh gosh I love homecoming pictures!!!! These are awesome!!
6Yay! I love these! Harmony said it best, God Bless the men and women who spend their lives keeping us safe and helping others.
7I like the picture of the little girl in the red shirt. I can't imagine how hard it would be to let go of a parent for so long. It is hard for adults to do, let alone a child! It makes me happy to think she was reunited with a loved one.
8That must be so hard to see you're husband or wife go away like that. I couldn't do it.
9Oh god.
I LOVE seeing these kinds of pictures!
Couple a weeks, couple a weeks. My son is really trying to pin me down on when exactly Daddy is coming home, but those of you with military connections know how impossible that is to say...
10Also, I've briefly considered dragging a professional photog friend along to this next homecoming ceremony. But, I feel like that would be kind of weird. I really want pictures like this, though!!!
11Jen that is an AWESOME idea! I never thought of that! You should see if a bunch of people in your unit want to go in on it together and maybe you can split it?? That would be great!
I wish I had pics like this too, but unless you have a photographer or a friend whose husband ISN'T coming home, its too hard with all the crazyness!!
12love them...makes me look so forward to the day when I have mine.
13My God, I cannot imagine what these families go through, when my dad travels for business I get can't stand it until he calls to say he landed safely.
My thoughts and prayers are with these families and I hope all their loved ones come home safely.
Thanks for the pictures, it's so nice to see the happy side of these times.
14I commend all of you ladies and hope that your loved ones come back to you soon.
15I teared up at these pictures, priceless. I cannot even begin to express how much respect I have and I am sure all of you too with your great comments for our troops. I especially love the girl in the red shirt too, can you imagine the trill to see you dad or mom the joy that they are home safe....awe love it.
16Oh, July can't come fast enough. I can't wait until that is me in those photos. My husband is a Marine and currently in Iraq. The homecoming is one of the scariest/most exciting / nerve wrenching /exhilarating experiences.
17Oh, we used to be stationed at Camp Lejeune.
Happiness! My cousin (who is like my brother) just went for his third tour...I'm praying he can have a happy return! Thank you to these amazing men and women!
18I've seen these before but just looked at them again ... and they made me cry AGAIN.
