Only 29? So if they split 70-30, she would only get 20 delegate to Obamas 9. How does she expect to take a lead with that little of a change? She so needs to get out.

I was just watching CNN. It was hilarious--vote totals at 0, precincts reporting at 0, checkmark by hillary.

MY wife and I were just discussing that. I'd like to see a state say "Yeah I voted for ______" regardless of whom they voted for. Then the news groups give someone the sate, and eventually show that they are wrong.

Hmm, they just said on CNN (okay, Hillary's communication director) said that no Democrat has won the presidency without winning WV since Woodrow Wilson...

And how many republicans have won the presidency without WV? I'm just curious.

George Bush Sr. won with out WV in '88. Check out this site, it's addictive.

I do think that times are a changin'! There are way more voters this year, and there are way more demographics of people that are voting. Even in the last election only around 50% of Americans voted...which means that the other 50% are up for the taking! Voters and states have changed quite a bit since Woodrow!

I thought the "zero percent precincts reporting, zero votes counted, big checkmark" thing was a little strange too.

Sure, I don't think anyone expected her to LOSE, but seems like they'd at least get SOME votes in before they declare a winner.

The longer this goes on, the more discouraged I get. This morning on CNN, one of HRC's supporters came on air and said outright that she has to be the nominee because white people are not going to vote for Obama. If I were a HRC supporter, I would be very offended at all the racial allegations being thrown at the voters. I'm sure people don't vote for her just because they are racist. What a horrible thing to say about your supporters! How come there isn't more outrage about this?

I don't think her win is going to come out of Florida and Michagan when the rules comitee meets. There won't be a decision made that awards her the nomination.

Just don't get it I guess. Every week this continues is a week the republicans pull ahead. The party gets more divided and more offensive things are said. Nobody is winning as far as I'm concerned.

As far as the 50% of voters who didn't vote last time - sure they're up for grabs, but that doesn't mean the 50% who did vote last time will vote this time.

And it's no wonder she has (a lot of) racist supporters, she's made some racist comments herself.

We WV's know who the right person is for the job. We are a poor state and she is the only candidate who has cared!!!! I think all people are equal in her eyes and others thould open theirs....

and the fight for the democratic nomination moves on! Not surprised, I love watching this political soap opera. The democratic party's true colors finally shine. All these years of them lecturing about equality and unity among gender and race.
and yet, at the end of the day, the majority of the african americans vote for the african american, and the white females vote for the white female. there is no change. the dems are hypocritical and its so amusing to watch it all unravel as their two presidential candidates expose each other like enemies. just goes to show what politics and politicians are all about (not for the people, thats for sure), red or blue (or green...)

On a separate note, the ability WV has to predict the POTUS is interesting. I hadn't heard much about that before.

Then why would she propose a gas tax holiday that would cost 300,000 jobs in the DOT? From what I know, a lot of middle class people work for the DOT...it won't be the elite people that would lose their jobs from this proposal. Isn't it funny how she hasn't mentioned anything about the gas tax holiday since the last primary?

And yes, racism does exist. But so does sexism and agism. The funny thing is that each candidate has their own draw back. I think I remember seeing in polls that actually people tend to be less likely to vote for someone who is really old than someone who is black or female. (polls haven't been the most reliable recently, though!)

I just think we need to make sure that we don't try to cater to these people. Pandering to racist people sends the signal that they are just in their prejudice.

I listened to her speech in WV yesterday and it was politics as usual. She only pretended to care in her speech because she's desperate (and grateful) for votes. Obama would have done the same in her position.

She did a good job of making WV feel extremely important, and frankly, who doesn't want to feel extremely important?

All I know is that when Hillary wins, unicorns will not crap ice cream and pastries.

I accept (but still hate) the media and the pollsters trying to make us all into little stereotypes - white women, or white women soccer moms, or white women soccer moms living in small communities in a certain financial bracket. Then commenting about how their arbitrarily divided section of people are really voting a certain way.

I truly really disrespect it when a candidate blatantly comes out and SAYS they are winning whites. She just keeps on bringing up race and I think it is ugly.

I don't like Hillary. She's a liar, and rather than play fair, she is dragging Obama through the mud to try to appear to be a superior candidate. She gives lectures on her ability to bring people together, and then uses divisive language.

I also understand why she isn't dropping out. The democratic party has a long history of throwing the losers of the previous elections away.

You got to give it to her- she has spunk and doesn't give up.

She can't give up. She's in debt way too much to get out. She needs people to donate money.

I'm not anymore of a Obama supporter, than I am a McCain supporter. I am definitely NOT a Clinton fan. I'm tired of the Clinton playbook (almost as much as I am of the Bush playbook)
