For those of you that aren't a fan of my favorite show The Bachelor, [1] you'll be glad to know that it's over! But the rest of you were probably glued to the TV last night to see who Matt picked [2]. Shayne was my favorite from the get go, but I have to say I was surprised to see him actually propose at the end. Most of the bachelors get on bended knee and offer the ring as a promise [3] for the future, not necessarily asking for their hand in marriage. Now I'm all for taking a chance on love, but getting engaged on a whim just isn't my style — I only want to be engaged and married once so I'll wait however long it takes to make sure we're both ready to take such a step, but what about you? Would you ever just go for it and take a chance like Matt and Shayne are doing?
