Similar to how a relationship gives you a chance to slack a little in your usual beauty routine, the weekend gives you a chance to abandon the typical workday clothes for your weekend wear. I tend to save my comfy jeans with the faded knees for errand running and my old sandals for shopping, but I have friends who use the weekend to wear all of their cutest, non-professional attire. So ladies, do tell, how does your weekend look differ from that of your weekday?

Well i work in a hospital so i spend all week in scrubs :C so its nice to make a bit of an effort at the weekend
I work in a chemistry lab, so I have to wear comfortable closed toe shoes so I try to incorporate cute shoes or flip flops into my outfit. I also wear some nicer clothes that I am afraid to ruin at work. Oh and my favorite ultra low rise jeans! I'm afraid to bend over at work and let my undies or butt slip out! I need to be taken seriously at work.
I am def a lot more relaxed and in more comfy items.
During the workweek I try to wear more skirts, dress pants and dresses, though sometimes jeans with a nice top. On the weekend I'll usually wear jeans and really low-cut v-neck tees, though I take advantage of wearing my shorter skirts and lower cut shirts, too. (not at the same time, though!)
My boyfriend believes in wearing his 'Sunday jumper' (he's British, hence 'jumper' v. 'sweater'!) all weekend long, but I try to dress nicely on the weekend since we usually go out during the day and night ... only when I'm at home chilling out do I wear sweats or my comfy jeans!
Nah. I wear the same type of clothes all week and weekend.
It tends to get even better, because I have more time to get ready! (even if I'm just going to sit at home
)
Right now I'm in college, so I usually go very casual on weekdays and make a little more effort on the weekends when we go out.
Same as bsglrok. I can't be asked to dress up for class, I barely wake up with enough time to run to class. Sooo I like to use the weekends as an excuse to put outfits together & such.
I'm in school too but I put about the same amount of effort whether its the weekend or not. So its all pretty much the same. Jeans and t-shirt, thats my uniform for the last three years.
My weekend wear is MUCH more casual than my work wear. I dress professionally and like to look my best for work, but on the weekends, I'm usually in jeans and a hoodie.
Au naturale with the hubby.
All kidding aside, my wardrobe is no different from my
work attire. I wear what I want at work and off-work. At home, obviously, I get 'comfortable'.
i have to dress like a loser all week in the office.. so on the weekends i like to be comfortable in my jeans and hoodies
My work wear is pretty casual already, jeans or khakis with a company shirt. On the weekends I live in my capri sweats and random tees.
i dont really put outfits together for work . whatever lookes comfy and cute enough. no dress coad. i get more cuted up on the weekends.
sausy for the weekends!! hahahaha
My office is very casual; I can wear jeans every day. So my weekend wear is no different.
I'm at university, so my weekend clothes tend to be the same as weekday ones - casual but on the side of presentable, just because you're pretty much guaranteed to be running into your tutors around town, and because no one really likes the sloppy look.
well i have to wear a uniform to work, but whenever im not working whether its a weekend or weekday...i pretty much live in skinny jeans, a tank or a shirt, and flats.
My casual clothes when I'm at home on the weekends, but cute non-professional stuff when I go out.
My casual clothes when I'm at home on the weekends, but cute non-professional stuff when I go out.
I'm a student so I get to wear casual clothes everyday. But pretty much as soon as I get home I put on my satin pyjamas and slippers to lounge in. If I have to stay in and study all weekend I sometimes find that I just change into different pyjamas, hehe.
It depends. I'm definitely more casual on the weekend, but I have a lot of cute casual clothes, so I try to wear those when I can--especially when I'm going to brunch with friends or shopping at more high end stores. And then I have the going out outfits for parties and getting drinks with friends. But I've also just thrown on jeans, a sweater, and flats to run to the store.
I'm with emalove. I'm in jeans and a hoodie now actually. My work wear is business, so it's suits all day every day. The weekends are WAYYYYY more casual for me.
I like to wear more t-shirts on the weekend ...
i'm an animator and work in a very casual work environment.... so at work I'm usually in jeans and a t-shirt with flip flops... sometimes I'll even go to work in sweatpants, haha. And I don't bother with makeup. No one cares.
So on the weekend I like to look a little bit nicer... and wear makeup =)
I have to dress pretty nicely for work. I occasionally slack and throw on a polo with my dress pants (like today) mostly when I don't have meetings. But I love wearing a cute dress to work. Easy, fast, versitle... so on the weekend, I wear much more casual stuff. I still try to look put together, especially if we are going out, but I'm wearing much more casual, comfortable stuff!
I don't work outside my home, so I dress the same way during the week and on the weekends...
at work i wear jeans and nice tops. on the weekend i wear jeans and t-shirts, unless i'm going somewhere that requires nicer dress.
I wear office casual all week, but as soon as Friday rolls around, it is Flannel PJ's until Sunday. I only change into jeans and a tee if I have to go out for an errand. I love my PJ's
Aside from the fact that my home is 15 miles inland, and about 10+ degrees warmer than my beachy office, my apparel stays the same... I'm my own boss. Lucky me.
During the weekday, I'll wear jeans and a top. On the weekends, I'll wear shorts and skirts with a tank. I wear flip flops throughout the week, though. I'm a student, so my attire is constantly casual. If I'm going out on the weekend, I'll wear my contacts.
