Just as some couples can’t keep their hands off each other and others save the physical affection for the bedroom, the same is true when it comes to saying “I love you.”
Even though every couple may be in love, the expression of those feelings is different for everyone. Some of us like to say "I love you" every time we talk to our significant other, while others say it few and far between. Of course there is no right way, so tell me ladies, how often do you say, “I love you”?

So many times that we don't even really say "I love you" anymore. We say goofy things like "I heart you" or "xoogly". But we say that stuff about one million times a day. And we have been married for almost four years.
1At least 10x's a day!
Even if we are just texting each other we will say it before
we sign off.
2I've been dating my boyfriend for just over a month and he just told me he loved me the other day and now we've been saying it to each other a few times a day. I'm not used to it yet, but it's nice to be able to say it to someone again
3My boyfriend says "less than 3" aka
4I say "I love you" more than he does, though he always chimes back with an "I love you, too". I say it often. He knows that I love him without saying it, and visa versa.
5We both say it a lot, but he says it more than I do. At first we were worried that we'd say it too much and it would lose its meaning, but I think that there's a difference between a quick kiss and I love you and looking each other in the eyes and saying it, so I think we're good.
6We constantly say it! Sometimes totally randomly- like if I'm in the kitchen, he'll shout 'I love you!' or if he's upstairs I'll yell it to him. He randomly texts it to me during the day. In public we will just say it. We are really in love
7Everytime we hang up the phone
And once in awhile I send a text to him saying "I love you" because I was thinking of him. And sometimes when we are laying together or smooching.
8We're an every other day sort of couple. I prefer for it not to be automatic but rather at random moments when I really mean it.
9My bf is a big stickler about it. He says it multiple times a day, and of course, because I do love him, I reciprocate. However, if it was by my prompting, I'd probably say it like once a week...I am always scared of the phrase getting played out and just not being more than an automatic response to something.
10My husband and I say it multiple times a day...always in the morning when we leave for work, everytime we talk on the phone during the day, and always before bed.
11We do almost automatically when saying goodbye, but also randomly (and often, meaningfully) when we're together as well. Sometimes he'll say it like once a minute just to see how many it takes before I stop saying it back. And sometimes we say something else like "I love shoes" just to be silly.
12After you say "I love you" too many times it looses it's meaning. Like when a cashier says "how are you doing today?" It might not always be meant, it's just a reflex. My BF and I *show* each other love, rather than say it.
13i agree, saying it too much is like saying hello and goodbye, even if you mean it. We say it when the feeling arises. and that makes it special, instead of it just being like a reflex.
14alcook87 same here.
15My boyfriend texts me once a day to say he loves me (We only see each a couple times a week, and we rarely talk on the phone), and when we're together, he'll look at me and tell me he loves me whenever he gets the opportunity. I think because I've been spoiled by him, I probably couldn't go a day without saying it anymore. He says it randomly, too. Like, I'll be getting ready to go out, and he'll come around behind me, wrap me in a hug and tell me he loves me. Or right as we're falling asleep, he'll say it. It's sweet and sincere, and the word has yet to lose its meaning for us.
16Never, me and my friends already know we'd be there for one another, and we love each other to death. It pretty much goes with being friends for more than 8 years.
17My boyfriend says it to me all the time (I tell him I worry if he goes for more than half an hour without saying it, haha
). He says it pretty casually to me, but it hasn't lost its meaning!
18I rarely say it to him... largely because I never have the chance, he says it to me so much
My husband and I say I love you all the time. Right now we're not together, he's in Iraq, and if we run out of things to say while talking on the internet, we just say I love you. We're silly, but we love each other.
19My husband and I have been together for over 10 years, and we tell each other every day. Like another poster here, we would say it randomly -- I'll yell it from the kitchen, and he would reply back, etc.
Also, we show each other we love each other, too. Saying it and showing it are not mutually exclusive.
20My boyfriend and I have been together for 2.5 yrs and we still say it a lot to each other =] we say it to each other to remind each other of our love and it helps a lot keep the relationship flaming
heheh
21We say it anytime one of us is leaving the house or if the other does something nice for us. It's a lot of times per day.
22Yeah, I don't see why saying 'I love you' should be reserved for special occasions especially when love with your partner is a daily occurrence. Everyday we have together is special. And, it will continue to be shown through actions and spoken through words every single day for the rest of our lives.
23Every day. And like Meike, we show it through actions all the time, even when it's not being said. You can't tell a person too often that you love them.
24BF as in best friend? or BF as in boyfriend? :/
25I told him once. He was happy. I don't plan on telling him it again. He knows.
26Me and my boyfriend try to say we love each other at least once a day. We don't want it to get over-used.
27I tell my husband sometimes. Have you ever read about love in a book store? I read a book once that said love is a concept that many people don't really understand before they spout out the words. That everyone has an opinion what "it" is. And everyone says it means something else. How many times have I heard, Do you love me? Do you love me? Whispers from behind my shoulder. How does anyone really know? Maybe you have to respect a person first. I have been told I love you and then three hours later football is more of a concern.
