John McCain took his 13th turn on The Daily Show last night gabbing about his spanking new Secret Service nickname ("Jerk," he says) and his possible running mate.
Well, he was clear who it's not going to be anyway. Hmm . . . McCain/Clinton '08? Possible slogan: Beauty and the Beast? The combo would keep it interesting to say the least!
Of the most recent turns at campaign funny-making (Barack, Hillary) — who's most likely to put Jon Stewart out of a job? Oh! Whoever gets elected, they could remodel the White House Press room to look like a stand-up comedy set! Like a brick wall backdrop with a stool and a bottle of water! Get Carrot Top in there with a trunk of props! Who could do it? Who's got the best chops?

I guess I could see me calling McCain, "Beauty".
1
hartsfull. I guess I left that door wide open
2I know and I HAD to pounce on that opportunity!
3Come on! You know McCain is the most at ease and the funniest!
4Yes! I am a McCain supporter Cab! Don't you worry.
5McCain was on SNL years ago and it was hilarious. He did McCain sings Streisands greatest hits. You can guess where it went from there.
6Omg! that must have been! I never watch snl anymore. I stopped along time ago cuz for a bit there it just lost it style or whaterever it was. Now I just don't get prime channels. If it's on a cable/sat channel I'd like to know!
7Here you go! McCain was amazing!
8I am not a McC supporter but he is the best.
9Thanks CS, but the ending isn't there, and that's the best part!!
He basically says you sing, I'll do politics.
10I liked McCain better when he wasn't running for President. Last night's interview was like watching a person going from normal and personable to "talking points only."
I felt kinda bad for him cuz it was very obvious that he just wanted to cut loose with Stewart but i'm guessing McCain's handlers made him swear to stick to talking points. grrrrrr...
11Yes, the PR machine is rolling.
12McCain is the shizzle.
13Go McCain! Go Team Red
14JSMcCain's humor is droll and self-deprecating. And his timing is great. He is the only one who can laugh at everything about himself.
BHObama has too many touchy points that are off-limits.
HRClinton also has off-limit areas.
McCain can become angry and try to educate his audience.
15Obama can become bitter and use elitist terminology.
Clinton can become vindictive and seek revenge.
